    Whether it was Trump’s team (sounds like it was), or Mueller, should the media be reporting questions pertaining to an open investigation?  Shouldn’t it happen after the investigation is over?   I am not talking about freedom of the press, but the fact that if someone leaks it does it mean it should automatically be news.

    It's the media's job to report news, not to preserve the integrity of an investigation or the reputation of the Chief of Staff. I blame the press for quite a bit but not for this.

    There's only one reason that leaks become news, and that's the fact that there's an audience. The people are culpable for the quality of the media they receive.

    That doesn't mean I can't have an opinion or state an opinion that I think the media shouldn't report information that could harm the integrity of an investigation.    I don't like the fact that both sides leak information to push their agenda and the media and the public eat it all up.    We are being played.  Why is John Kelly calling the President an "idiot" behind closed doors news?   We are letting some disgruntled White House staffer use the media to get someone removed.   How about we all grow up a little and if there is a dispute in the office work it yourselves?

    Because Team Trump Treason is trying to build the case against Team Mueller in the arena of public opinion, in an effort to discredit Team Mueller. How is Team Mueller's investigation being undermined by the press reporting the questions they want to ask? Its not like Team Trump Treason is finding out about them through the press and from what I've read, if Team Trump Treason is "innocent" and "there was no collusion," he should be able to answer those questions honestly and without fear of being impeached or going to jail. But thats a BIG if. I guess all of the Team Trump Treason attempts at discrediting Team Mueller and the FBI and the repubes leaking of information, incluidng drawing up articles of impeachment against Rosenstein gets a pass? You can't have a one sided argument in the public sphere. The press is a check on Executive power and in this case, calls Team Trump Treason's bluff by saying, indirectly, what are you hiding, what are you afraid of and answer the damn questions. He's being called out in the public sphere because he's made unreasonable demands of Team Mueller to answer questions under oath. Put up or shut up and the press is a hero for puting it out there.

    You're entitled to your opinion but I'm still not following you on why you don't think its right for the press to report on developments of the ongoing case.Team Mueller, in all likelyhood, knows the answers to those questions. Their public release by no means jeaporidizes his case.

    So if someone leaked evidence that Mueller wants to use against Trump the media should go ahead and release it?   I agree the questions aren't as big a deal, but why can't we let the investigation take its course?  If Trump's team wants the questions leaked then they can post them on their website instead of using the press.

    I don't care what Team Trump is doing.  This could be Mario vs. Luigi for all I care, or Batman vs. Superman.  My point has nothing to do with who is involved but that the media is undermining an ongoing investigation and I don't think that is right.  I don't know why you keep bringing up what Team Trump is doing.  So because Trump says there is no collusion the media is now entitled to report Mueller's game plan if someone leaked it to them?  I don't get the connection there.
    Because Team Trump Treason is trying to build the case against Team Mueller in the arena of public opinion, in an effort to discredit Team Mueller. How is Team Mueller's investigation being undermined by the press reporting the questions they want to ask? Its not like Team Trump Treason is finding out about them through the press and from what I've read, if Team Trump Treason is "innocent" and "there was no collusion," he should be able to answer those questions honestly and without fear of being impeached or going to jail. But thats a BIG if. I guess all of the Team Trump Treason attempts at discrediting Team Mueller and the FBI and the repubes leaking of information, incluidng drawing up articles of impeachment against Rosenstein gets a pass? You can't have a one sided argument in the public sphere. The press is a check on Executive power and in this case, calls Team Trump Treason's bluff by saying, indirectly, what are you hiding, what are you afraid of and answer the damn questions. He's being called out in the public sphere because he's made unreasonable demands of Team Mueller to answer questions under oath. Put up or shut up and the press is a hero for puting it out there.

    You're entitled to your opinion but I'm still not following you on why you don't think its right for the press to report on developments of the ongoing case.Team Mueller, in all likelyhood, knows the answers to those questions. Their public release by no means jeaporidizes his case.
    The questions aren't that surprising and aren't going to blow up the investigation.  End of the day I just think that we should let the investigation play out.  The press is not a hero for reporting the questions.  The whole f'ing world knows there is an investigation going on right now.  Let's see where the investigation goes from here and then report the findings.    If next time Mueller strategy is leaked that gives Team Trump a leg up on the investigation, are you going to be supportive of it?

    That doesn't mean I can't have an opinion or state an opinion that I think the media shouldn't report information that could harm the integrity of an investigation.    I don't like the fact that both sides leak information to push their agenda and the media and the public eat it all up.    We are being played. 

    If Team Trump Treason kept his mouth shut and didn’t loudly and constantly proclaim that, “there was no collusion,” you’d have a point. And, if such is the case, Team Trump Treason should be telling the American people that he’s ready, willing and able to answer the 50 questions in person as soon as it can be scheduled. The only entity trying to play us is Team Trump Treason.

    Receiving the questions Mueller wants to ask Trump is news. The news reporter reported the news. I don't see what the problem is here.

    So if someone leaked evidence that Mueller wants to use against Trump the media should go ahead and release it?   I agree the questions aren't as big a deal, but why can't we let the investigation take its course?  If Trump's team wants the questions leaked then they can post them on their website instead of using the press. 

    It's literally the press' job to report on the investigation. If they got this info and verified that it was true, it would be negligence on their part not to report it. Plus if Trump fires Rosenstein and replaces him with a stooge, it will be for the intent to either end the investigation or not release the findings publicly when it's over. We need reporting like this more than ever right now.



    And I believe Trump's team didn't want anyone to know they were the one's who leaked it. Hence the president's irrational tweets this morning.

    It’s not the role of the press. They’re supposed to report info based on reliable sources and facts found. They aren’t the gatekeeper of admin leaks. Leak control happens internally. In this case, the questions were intentionally leaked by trump’s lawyers.
