    What’s troubling New Hampshire
    New Hampshire has had the second highest rate of opioid-involved overdose deaths in the Nation since 2014. A poll conducted last year found that drugs were the biggest problem facing the Granite State—the first time in the poll’s history that a majority named any single issue as the most important.

    Today, President Donald J. Trump and First Lady Melania Trump travel to Manchester, New Hampshire. The President will address America’s opioid epidemic at Manchester Community College and discuss his Administration’s initiative to stop opioid abuse and reduce drug supply and demand, which has four components:

    1. Address the driving forces of the opioid crisis, including over-prescription, illicit drug supplies, and insufficient access to evidence-based treatment.

    2. Reduce demand and over-prescription in part by educating Americans about the dangers of opioid and other drug use.

    3. Cut off the supply of illicit drugs by cracking down on international and domestic supply chains that devastate American communities.

    4. Help those struggling with addiction through evidence-based treatment and recovery support services.

    I have never had one and never wanted one. However, I’ve joined a new climbing gym and the FB page is apparently how people find new climbing partners. Ugh. I wonder what the bare minimum amount of info I can put on there is?

    very little as far as I recall. lots of people I know use their first and middle names as their facebook name, so no last name. use an email address like hotmail that also asks for very little, if any, personal info.

    If you don’t put much info in FB, there’s not much info it can take. Do a fake name, no birthday, no hometown, no employer, everything is friends only, no quizzes, no instant messanger app, install gostery and adblock, don’t open Putin links from your right wing friends.

    If that works for you, great, but I have little time for and even less desire to chat on the phone with anyone. Only person I really call on a regular basis in my private life is my mom. Everyone else either gets a text or a message. Social media makes that easy.

    Facebook replaced MySpace and someday (maybe sooner rather than later) it will be replaced by whatever comes next.

    A few years back you could set up an option where your comments, etc. would not appear in the news feed.  They did away with that so everyone pretty much sees what you comment on.

    I'm the same. FB has become just one annoying "suggested post" and "look what this friend commented on" nonsense. FB is the new myspace. nothing but ad revenue. it will be dead in 5 years.
