The US did cut a deal with Russian regarding Uranium. This was at a time during the 'reset' where we were trying to normalize relations with Russia (Putin had left office at the time). But my point is that this was a POTUS level decision that would have involved multiple cabinet members and approvals. To insinuate the HRC did this quid pro quo is absolutely asinine and delusional, but par for the course for detractors who invent conspiracies at every turn.Gern Blansten said:

Let's pretend that this is worse than Hillary "I'm fighting for women" Clinton's foundation receiving millions of dollars from women hating countries like Saudi Arabia or her acceptance of millions from Russia for a sweetheart uranium deal. She didn't abuse her office of Sec of State, nope not at all.Gern Blansten said:http://www.nytimes.com/2016/08/17/us/politics/trump-chris-christie-casinos.html?_r=0
Well isn't this interesting...By the time Chris Christie became governor of New Jersey, the state’s auditors and lawyers had been battling for several years to collect long-overdue taxes owed by the casinos founded by his friend Donald J. Trump.
The total, with interest, had grown to almost $30 million. The state had doggedly pursued the matter through two of the casinos’ bankruptcy cases and even accused the company led by Mr. Trump of filing false reports with state casino regulators about the amount of taxes it had paid.
But the year after Governor Christie, a Republican, took office, the tone of the litigation shifted. The state entertained settlement offers. And in December 2011, after six years in court, the state agreed to accept just $5 million, roughly 17 cents on the dollar of what auditors said the casinos owed.0 -
Exactly....I was referring to an article showing where the decision was made because of the Clinton Foundation.mrussel1 said:

This tells us that know one wants to be associated with Trump's campaign. Fucking hilarious.
if you think the campaign rhetoric from trump about hillary and the dems before was bad, hold on to your hat because you ain't seen nothin yet."You can tell the greatness of a man by what makes him angry." - Lincoln

trump's strategy at this time is to make few mistakes and mount a late surge in october into election day.
he does not understand that early voting is starting in the next few weeks and people will be voting based on all of the foolishness he has displayed to date. nobody can undo that shit show.
he is not coming back from where he is now. if he did not get a huge bounce from his convention, there is nothing he can do to get one now."You can tell the greatness of a man by what makes him angry." - Lincoln

It seems like this is just the first step in monetizing the campaign. He is getting connected directly with the beating heart of Trumpism, Breitbart.com. This is most certainly not an attempt to move to the center. He will become more bombastic and more divisive. It's not a reboot, it's a marketing move.Post edited by mrussel1 on0 -

He's gonna start a media company for sure. It's going to do extremely well0 -
who else thinks that ailes, this brietbart guy, alex jones, and trump form their own network? maybe a fox news part deux?mrussel1 said:

Exactly right... Catering to the alt right. If you read the comment sections on the site, you will see the users hate Fox News. This will be an enormous splinter and very detrimental to Fox News. Crazy how this is shaking out.gimmesometruth27 said:

now that i think about it, after 8 years of having to keep the hatred of the black guy under the rug, now they would have to keep the hatred of a woman under the rug for at least another 4. knowing that it is not too hard to expect that this would happen.
you can't keep a lid on that shit forever.

40% is too high...
35% is more like it...
tempted to say 30% is possible... or worse...
Trump will always be remembered as a clown and a failure...

It's been an interesting last few weeks in the media with regards to Trump.
I think the liberal media has finally found a way to not only come out in full hate but an all out attack on Trump in the mere days (relative to the insane length of an American election) left before election day.
It is like they are filling the void airspace that Trump used to fill.
They are panicking.
Trump is resting on his laurels from his pinnacle.
The media and Trump opposers are getting louder and louder yet Trump remains unchanged.
