Awesome. Hopefully going to the show "in the six"! $17.50 a ticket. What an awesome price.
Never been to the Mod. By pics it looks like all GA, except a little side section. Anyone know what the side section is?"Feel the path of everyday....which road you taking?"

When I saw them, he specifically said 'no PJ stuff'. There were a LOT of people with PJ stuff though, so it could depend on how he feels.ceska said:
Inside joke? He signed PJ stuff on the last RNDM tour.100 Pacer said:
Oh, and watching Jeff refuse to sign anything PJ-related should be fun too.The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.

That was my understanding as well. When a group bombarded him with PJ items he refused but perhaps if a couple of fans caught his eye he obliged.RKCNDY said:
I believe that's where the "J Ament" signature came into play in order to differentiate but then Jeff began to carry over the signature onto some PJ items which kind of took something away IMO.To quote the 10C from Newsletter #8: "Please understand we have a lot of members and it is very hard to please everybody. If you are one of those unhappy people...please call 1-900-IDN-TCAR."

Not meaning to judge anyone here, but I've always thought it rude when people shoved PJ items at the guys when they are specifically playing as part of another distinct band."Somewhere in between / There and here / I got lost / I got scared..."0

I agree with Sarah - I can see why Jeff would want the focus to be on the band he is working with and not separating him out as a member of Pearl Jam.0

Saw them when they played the Paradise in Boston on the last tour...... Great show.
I've been reluctant to hit the Brighton Music Hall since it went corporate, (I had a lot of love for Harper's Ferry) but I'm glad they are making a local appearance, especially since there are only 7 total dates scheduled as of now.
Bummer for those who don't have any dates nearby them, hopefully they schedule more for those who expect to miss out.Post edited by Merkin Baller on0 -
Agreed. It was bad enough that at all the 2012 shows the crowd gathered mostly in front of Jeff. Awkward and silly.ShanKathy said:I agree with Sarah - I can see why Jeff would want the focus to be on the band he is working with and not separating him out as a member of Pearl Jam.

Well, I'm going to leave myself open to charges of hypocrisy by saying this, but since I may otherwise never have a chance to see my favourite musician of all-time (and major inspiration) up close, I will attempt to find a spot in front of Jeff, if possible. I never saw Three Fish, I doubt we'll ever get a Tone/While My Heart Beats solo tour, and any future exhibits of his art and photography likely won't make it to the Art Gallery of Ontario. So, if I have the chance to see Jeff play in a small setting, I am all for it. That said, I certainly dig RNDM as its own entity. Love Richard from all his work with Jeff, and because of RNDM, I am now turned on to the vocals and lyrics of Joseph Arthur. So, if I get in the venue I will be happy, and if I get up close to the stage in Jeff's area, awesome.PJ_Soul said:

Haven't been to BMH myself, wish they were playing the Paradise like last time. But I'm not complaining!Mansfield 06.28.2008 | Boston 05.17.2010 | Boston 06.19.2011 EV solo | Wrigley Field 07.19.2013 | Worcester 10.15.2013 | Worcester 10.16.2013 | Hartford 10.25.2013

Haha. Fair enough. I am a massive Joseph Arthur fan (I'm a Jeff and Richard fan too, but I'm bananas about everything Joseph has ever done; basically a megafan), so I would be staking out in front of him. So I get it, lol! It's just that when most of the crowd is doing the same thing in front of Jeff, it gets really weird! And it doesn't go unnoticed. Joseph commented about it in a blog, lol.Sarah said:

They are about 4 blocks away from each other, but the Paradise just feels so much more accessible due to the college scene on Brighton Ave.lotsalemon said:

Lousy parking scene there.... Oh well, I guess I'll have to take a cab or Uber, which won't be the worst thing either!0 -
