Have you had chance to check out few episodes. Fairbanks can get rough. Really impressed how they deal with natives in small villages.rr165892 said:

Several times walked away from potentially lethal situation versus going in to get them as they would in every case in Texas. Yes I know they act different due to being on TV but the non escalating strategy works.
Had a drunk suicidal threatening male. Had him outnumbered and out gunned. Decided to wait him out till next day. He sobered up came out shook their hands and arrested.
Ex marine PTSD. Sharpshooter. They left him in his house.
In Texas they would of killed both these fkers.10-18-2000 Houston, 04-06-2003 Houston, 6-25-2003 Toronto, 10-8-2004 Kissimmee, 9-4-2005 Calgary, 12-3-05 Sao Paulo, 7-2-2006 Denver, 7-22-06 Gorge, 7-23-2006 Gorge, 9-13-2006 Bern, 6-22-2008 DC, 6-24-2008 MSG, 6-25-2008 MSG0 -

There will always be people who say "sure, but they shouldn't have taken the risk of waiting them out because these could have ended up really badly". Yes, but the choice of always going in fast and heavy has risks, too.my small self... like a book amongst the many on a shelf0 -

What's a reasonable punishment for a group of cops when their lies nearly ruin a person's life?

Internal Affairs found no wrongdoings: yet again, another reason for the logical move to having independent commissions investigate allegations of abuse.Drowned Out said:What's a reasonable punishment for a group of cops when their lies nearly ruin a person's life?

You'd like to think with all these stories surfacing, the seemingly endless stream of brutality would be coming to an end.
In answer to your question, Jeter needs a payout and those officers should face (off the top of my head) obstruction of justice and assault charges."My brain's a good brain!"0 -
Oh yeah... the one cop should be made to go to driving school."My brain's a good brain!"0

Well of course they IA found no wrong doings....isn't it odd I've heard those sayings before "stop resisting" "why you going for my gun". Once those words are said everything after that is justified. That other officer rammed and damaged even though Jeter's car was in park. My sister lives in Bloomsfield, NJ and it's scary to think that SOME of the officers there are comfortable acting this way against an innocent citizen....no video, Jeter's in jail for a year or two.Thirty Bills Unpaid said:

I don't see how waiting people out (at least for some amount of time) would ever create more risk than not waiting and using violence. Not unless it's a hostage situation.oftenreading said:

Those cops that killed that dude with his hands up is absolutely insane. They are claiming he had a knife in his hands. But holy hell, the dude appeared to not be any threat to the THREE cops that were on the scene.0

I really hope these cop killings aren't becoming a trend.
All the more reason to take a good hard look at police-civilian relations in this country.
