I can't foresee a scenario in which this team scores a run this season.

i'm sure they will score a couple here and there

Opening Day boys. yea this team is gonna suck but still always exciting on opening day. and a nice cold beer at a ballgame on a hot summer night is still a good thing.

saw Franceour made the roster. Anyone catch a glimpse of Fixer recently? i'm sure his head has exploded with Franceour and Howard on the roster together.

well not off to a good start

Luckily I was at work and missed it. Hoping this season they don't embarrass themselves to much. Hoping they finish between 7-80 wins and maybe not in last :confounded:
i think they have a great chance of winning somewhere between 7 and 80 games.

obviously meant to write 70-80. although 7-80 might be more realistic.

Maybe if they pull off a Hamels trade and he pitches against us

saw connor barwin when i was getting a beer. of course he would be there. guy's gotta be the coolest philadelphia eagle in franchise history. i yelled "go birds!" to him. sure he loved that.

my brother is also pretty sure beau allen and kelce were standing behind us too.

anyway---awesome show, great band. very proud that they are a philly product.

I need to get to a show in general. Barwin seems like a good dude. Hate the eagles but I like how involved some of them are in the community
Low Cut Connie in a couple of weeks at underground arts. You should join us.

Also, I will be at the Troc tomorrow. Friends' cousin is the opening act, which should be cool. Feel free to join us if you're around (will be with a bunch of new york dbags, so you will fit right in)

this team isn't worth talking about until amaro, montgomery, and gillick are replaced. it's a complete joke

I cannot comprehend why ryan howard is still on this roster.

luckily for amaro, chip kelly is trying to overtake him as the dumbest executive in philly. it's getting pretty close

glad to see the most overrated (and overpaid) phillie ever failed to make the ballot.

    schmidt
    utley
    rollins

That's who I voted for too but really, just going by the stats, Klein is way better than Rollins and Utley. A .320 average and 300 HRs? They don't make 'em like that anymore. But he died 25 years before I was born so I can't be bothered to vote for him.

Not gonna pretend to know a lot about Klein. When in doubt, go to baseball reference.

Utley is already at 228 HRs. Figure he has a decent shot to get to 300.

    Klein career WAR - 43.6
    Utley career WAR - 61.5
    Rollins career WAR - 45.7

    and for comedy sake...

Howard career WAR - 17.9. haha

Ashburn was at 63.4, which surprised me. Looks like he has a much better case than Klein.

Sadly, this debate may be the highlight of the 2015 season. Unless of course Amaro gets fired

Harang is fucking dealing. Not that it matters cause this team can't score any runs to support him but it's still nice to see.

Edit: Well I take that back, Francoeur just went yard. Good for him,
