Man of the Hour. Every time I hear it, I hear the screeching in the Benny recording, regardless of whether I'm listening to Benaroya Hall or not. Eek.2014: Cincinnati
2016: Lexington and Wrigley 10 -
Release
When I saw your other thread about Rearviewmirror vs. Release being a "heavyweight battle", I was gonna comment something about Release being Glass Joe to RVM's Mike Tyson. And look, I understand why people like/love Release. And I don't actively dislike/hate it or anything. But I just rarely if ever listen to it. It's kinda boring (to me...this is just one man's opinion here....everybody calm down cause I know what you're all thinking). It's boring as a concert opener. It's boring as Ten's closing track. A quick check of my iPhone shows that of the 3,341 songs I have on there, four of them are Release and if set to random, I'll be pressing "next" if one of those four come up..2000: Camden 1, 2003: Philly, State College, Camden 1, MSG 2, Hershey, 2004: Reading, 2005: Philly, 2006: Camden 1, 2, East Rutherford 1, 2007: Lollapalooza, 2008: Camden 1, Washington D.C., MSG 1, 2, 2009: Philly 1, 2, 3, 4, 2010: Bristol, MSG 2, 2011: PJ20 1, 2, 2012: Made In America, 2013: Brooklyn 2, Philly 2, 2014: Denver, 2015: Global Citizen Festival, 2016: Philly 2, Fenway 1, 2018: Fenway 1, 2, 2021: Sea. Hear. Now. 2022: Camden, 2024: Philly 2, 2025: Pittsburgh 1

Jeremy - Dont like the song, coupled with the fact radio/MTV killed this one in the 90's. I never need to hear it again. Ever.
Dissident - I know people love this song. It just makes me cringe. One of the few PJ songs I truly do not like.
Betterman - Great song ruined by radio play. I do enjoy it live because of the awesome jam and usually some Ed improv. Still, there's a hundred PJ songs I'd rather hear than this one.0 -

Do people like Future Days? Because I don't. I really don't. That's probably the only PJ song I'd drop the "h" word on.

I don't get it when people say that Radio or MTV killed a song. I understand what you mean, but do you guys really listen to the radio and watch MTV? I can't remember the last time I did either one.0

Well, I was going to put All Along The Watchtower because I just assumed they play it all the time and everybody liked it. Turns out they have only played it 12 times, it just so happens that the 2 shows I've been to it was played, and of course I have those boots so it comes up pretty often on my ipod. I guess I just don't like that song. I will have to re-visit and try to appreciate it more.Washington DC 2008
