That's how I think about it when i listen to the boot! And honestly, its not that it is a bad song; its that the radio absolutely destroyed it in 1995 (as radio does to every ballad to the point that it makes me cringe). I probably liked it initially, i just dont remember that!

Future Days, without a doubt my least favorite PJ song. Lightning Bolt ends with Yellow Moon for me because I always end the album before Future Days starts.

Man of the Hour. Every time I hear it, I hear the screeching in the Benny recording, regardless of whether I'm listening to Benaroya Hall or not. Eek.

  • Release

When I saw your other thread about Rearviewmirror vs. Release being a "heavyweight battle", I was gonna comment something about Release being Glass Joe to RVM's Mike Tyson. And look, I understand why people like/love Release. And I don't actively dislike/hate it or anything. But I just rarely if ever listen to it. It's kinda boring (to me...this is just one man's opinion here....everybody calm down cause I know what you're all thinking). It's boring as a concert opener. It's boring as Ten's closing track. A quick check of my iPhone shows that of the 3,341 songs I have on there, four of them are Release and if set to random, I'll be pressing "next" if one of those four come up..

Jeremy - Dont like the song, coupled with the fact radio/MTV killed this one in the 90's. I never need to hear it again. Ever.

Dissident - I know people love this song. It just makes me cringe. One of the few PJ songs I truly do not like.

Betterman - Great song ruined by radio play. I do enjoy it live because of the awesome jam and usually some Ed improv. Still, there's a hundred PJ songs I'd rather hear than this one.

Do people like Future Days? Because I don't. I really don't. That's probably the only PJ song I'd drop the "h" word on.

Yeah, good point, I guess most people don't like Future Days so it doesn't apply here... it's awful, and everyone thinks so, lol (yeah, I know not everyone literally. It's cool Future Day lovers. You freaks. =) ).
