Get Behind Me Satan is the only album by The White Stripes to not be commercially released in a vinyl format. The reason behind it was because The White Stripes had intended to re-record Get Behind Me Satan entirely live in a New Zealand studio and wanted that to be the official vinyl version. However, the studio that they were planning to record it in no longer had the recording equipment to make it possible. As a result, there was never a commercially released vinyl of the album. Yet, there are only a few copies of the album on vinyl LP that were given exclusively to music journalists for review, which have since become coveted collector's items. They were released by both XL Recordings and V2 Records and each label had only 300, making the total 600 and highly rare.

    Wow!

^ that's awesome. For whatever reason I always miss him when he's around the Philly area.

The only way I could have pulled it would have been to book my flight to Mexico that leaves the following morning out of NYC. If knly I had enough notice before booking...

I'm hoping someone records this. I'm fairly certain I won't be able to view it in the UK!

Great show in Nashville. Nice to have met you jjflash.

Like many others, arrived at the show to find the show poster already sold out. So if anyone was able to snag an extra (there was no limit.), let me know. On the bay people want crazy money right now.....guess I will have to wait a while. But none the less...it was a great show.

Edit: If anyone has the poster and would like a S/N Moline A/P for trade.... let me know.
or if Vinyl is your thing,
I would trade sealed versions of Vaults #3 and #4 for the poster.

Backatcha buddy! What a friggin' awesome show. Only thing that would have made it better was finding that drumstick once the lights went up....ha. It's gonna be fun watching set lists for tomorrow's Jack/MSG & 'Sonic Evolution' shows. Hope to see you again sometime on the road!
