What do you think of the sound quality on this Smarchee? I think it's decidedly average...

Two excellent choices Tim, hows the 'Elbow' sound? I'm thinking I should get this one from my local, really loving the first single from this...

It's slower yet it reminds me more of Asleep era Elbow. Definitely a step up from Rocket.

yeah I would agree, it seemed a little underwhelming, especially compared to Fool For A Day, which I thought sounded really rich

Thats cool Smarchee you'll really enjoy them, I have a couple of the originals, but these reissues are hard to pass up, I think this part of Cash's career with Rick Rubin was a real golden era... :)

It was me PJ_Soul, glad you are loving this one! Such a cool band with such a laid-back and lush sound, they only put out three albums in their short career, but imo this was their best and most consistent effort... Terrible cover art though, must be tongue-in-cheek.

    Nice find! :)

It is definitely not that easy to find. It's popped up a few times on ebay over the past few months, but never at a reasonable price for the condition.
