Dire Straits - Love Over Gold

    Rush - Grace Under Pressure

My favorite DS and favorite 80s Rush album. GUP is so underrated. PV is a great comeback album but Pump is the best of the Geffen era. Hoping to get that on vinyl one day.

Cool, I remember having Love Over Gold on cassette a lifetime ago. My dad bought me Permanent Vacation and Appetite For Destruction on vinyl for Christmas in 1987 - I was 11 and felt so cool! I just listened to PV at the weekend, Hangman Jury is a great track.

One of my very earliest concerts was seeing GnR open for Aerosmith on the PV tour at the Cleveland Coliseum. Agree on Hangman, it was a good song. And this was the last Aerosmith album I liked considering they went all in on Alicia Silverstone pop after it.

Honkin On Bobo is good even if it's just covers. At least they were back to their blues roots instead of pop crap.

One of my favorite movies. I couldn't believe there was a blues brother shirt at Wrigley. I should have bought 3.

This is an Experience Hendrix version, correct? I'd love to know how this sounds. It's next on my Hendrix want list. I have the old CD and it's pretty good quality. But I think this was pressed from originals?

Sounds great. Make sure to get the US pressing cut by Bernie Grundman and pressed at QRP not the EU pressing.

Even the CD is great sounding, one of the best sounding CDs I have bought in recent years.

Hey nice. I just ordered the euro edition because it comes with one extra track. Did you see this? I'm very, very tempted but it's expensive. I really want Wildflowers though.

Thought I'd let you all know that the TOTD purple MOV version is in stock at Newbury. 1200 copies available. Not cheap at $50, but probably the best sounding and coolest looking version.
