Cool! That was one power house of a band back in the day- like watching a steam roller on steroids. Cool cover too and glad it was taken from the still existing west side of the Bay Bridge... a bridge that is a bit like a steam roller on steroids too, now that I think of it, haha!

They're all really good. Archives 1 is 16- track album, volume 2 is a 2-track 7" single. They were recorded at the same time as The Creek Drank the Cradle so if you like his early records you'll love these.

Love Letter For Fire is a duets record by Sam and Jesca Hoop (so it's not really an I&W album). I'm really enjoying it so far, it's got a really chilled vibe to it and their voices sound great together.

can't wait for the MOFI Weezer Blue Album to arrive!

Is this the MOFI version you're talking about Matt? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LWXBBBZ/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=18FG4F1R4EUYE&coliid=I3Q2CBHL403LN6

I see an older MOFI pressing on Discogs from 2012. https://www.discogs.com/Weezer-Weezer/release/3923945

I want a MOFI pressing of this, just unsure which one to get...the new or older. Any advice?

That's the one! I've wanted the MoFI for a little while & grabbed it while I could
Damn...that looks sweet. Might have to pull the trigger myself.
Release is Friday. I thought it would have shipped by now.
Just got an email from Amazon. Expected arrival date is 11/2.
I ended up ordering two of the Weezer Blue/blue vinyls just to be safe. They are both arriving today. I will likely send the Amazon one back unless someone is interested in buying it from me (for face of course).

Spun it last night. It's fabulous. I didn't hear a big difference in the highs, but the bass extension was fantastic. Of course being a MOFI, it's flat and clean. A really nice listen.

Nice. Did you buy the whole box set or were you able to find just the orpheum vinyl? That's all i really want from the box. Drop in the park vinyl would be nice too.

    Original from 1977.

So stoked to get this album on vinyl, Wire are one of my favourite bands and this is really hard to come by these days. This is their debut album and a punk classic!
