can't wait for the MOFI Weezer Blue Album to arrive!

Is this the MOFI version you're talking about Matt? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LWXBBBZ/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=18FG4F1R4EUYE&coliid=I3Q2CBHL403LN6

I see an older MOFI pressing on Discogs from 2012. https://www.discogs.com/Weezer-Weezer/release/3923945

I want a MOFI pressing of this, just unsure which one to get...the new or older. Any advice?

This is the one I bought. Mofi, blue, gatefold. It's expensive but it should be exquisite. It may be the same mix as the 12 version. I guess we will know soon.

Glow in the dark vinyl? That seems like it'd be pretty rad.

Finally! This isn't actually that easy to find for a reasonable price anymore (mostly going for over $50), but I finally did find it for only $20 USD, but the shipping was $27 USD. Anyway, so happy to have it. I am in love with this album. I like his latest album, but Rhythm and Repose blows it out of the water IMO.

Whats that Mad Season record like? Interesting concept with the orchestra. Who's singing? Not exactly Mad Season is it with only 2 original members...

Here...you can just watch the whole thing. Cornell sang some, then they did TOTD reunion. You also had Kim Virant and Angell do a total of 3 songs. Regarding the sound quality, the CD came out pretty well. The vinyl is a bit flat and without dynamic heft. This is true whether you got the purple or the black.

Good to know. I got anxious Friday and ordered a copy from Ebay which was the same price. So if anyone needs one, I will likely have an extra that I would normally send back to Amazon.
