This Seattle team is easily the best Super Bowl Champion of the past decade. 13-3 regular season and a blowout in the Super Bowl against the top offense of all time? Not to mention how young they all are. I'd hate to be a fan of an NFC team the next few years.2000: Camden 1, 2003: Philly, State College, Camden 1, MSG 2, Hershey, 2004: Reading, 2005: Philly, 2006: Camden 1, 2, East Rutherford 1, 2007: Lollapalooza, 2008: Camden 1, Washington D.C., MSG 1, 2, 2009: Philly 1, 2, 3, 4, 2010: Bristol, MSG 2, 2011: PJ20 1, 2, 2012: Made In America, 2013: Brooklyn 2, Philly 2, 2014: Denver, 2015: Global Citizen Festival, 2016: Philly 2, Fenway 1, 2018: Fenway 1, 2, 2021: Sea. I would normally agree, but this goes down as my favorite SB of all time. lolNewch91 said:Did anyone else find this Super Bowl really boring? I like my Super Bowls close, not blowouts.

agreed. they are such a dominant football team....then you add a healthy percy harvin next year and they might even be better.Ledbetterman10 said:This Seattle team is easily the best Super Bowl Champion of the past decade. 13-3 regular season and a blowout in the Super Bowl against the top offense of all time? but let this be a lesson to you kids out there, defense still wins in this league.www.myspace.com0 -
yeah same here i normally don't like blowouts either but i enjoyed this one. I had no preference going in but was rooting for Seattle. I thought it was entertaining watching a dominate game. Safety to start the game Kickoff TD to start the 3td wuarter. Almost had a shutout on the best offensive team of all time.Bant said:

yeah. it was enjoyable to me only because most of the country assumed the team that got blown out was going to win.....having money on the team administering the ass whupping didn't hurt though. hey oh.eeriepadave said:

Niners fan here and I agree. In fact the Niners of this season could very well be the 2nd best team of the past decade. With the salary cap it's nearly impossible to build a complete team. With cheap QB's the Niners and Hawks have a huge edge. Won't last forever though, once Kapernick and Wilson get paid what they are worth both teams will be in the same boat as the Packers, Broncos and Pats. Love to see defense win in this watered down arena style NFL. '07 Pats and this '13 Broncos teams were soft and got exposed in the Super Bowl. This Hawks defense ranks up there with the all time great ones. Cool to see the great city of Seattle bring home a title after a 30 plus year drought. Especially after the whole Sonics fiasco.Ledbetterman10 said:This Seattle team is easily the best Super Bowl Champion of the past decade. 13-3 regular season and a blowout in the Super Bowl against the top offense of all time? I'll never understand this "Brady had better teams" argument. Manning's teams have had at least 10 wins every year since 2002 (except that year he was injured). Obviously those were all good teams packed with playmakers on both sides of the ball. From 2003-2009, Manning's Colts teams had at least 12 wins a year. That's not ALL him. And I'm a Dolphins fan that can't stand Brady. But come on...DewieCox said:2000: Camden 1, 2003: Philly, State College, Camden 1, MSG 2, Hershey, 2004: Reading, 2005: Philly, 2006: Camden 1, 2, East Rutherford 1, 2007: Lollapalooza, 2008: Camden 1, Washington D.C., MSG 1, 2, 2009: Philly 1, 2, 3, 4, 2010: Bristol, MSG 2, 2011: PJ20 1, 2, 2012: Made In America, 2013: Brooklyn 2, Philly 2, 2014: Denver, 2015: Global Citizen Festival, 2016: Philly 2, Fenway 1, 2018: Fenway 1, 2, 2021: Sea. Seattle looks good against the cap next year too -- they will be up against some decisions the year after but they are going to be tough to beat...young, good & now, experienced.

manning has had much better offensive weapons throughout his entire career than brady, except maybe 2007.Ledbetterman10 said:

It's simple. Brady has had better complete teams around him. Good, not great skill players on offense, good offensive lines, good sometimes great defenses and always a great gameplan. Look what the Pats have done since Billy B's ego has taken control...a couple SB losses to a team not in the same realm as that Seahawks team we saw last night.Ledbetterman10 said:

Manning has had Harrison, Wayne and James and then a bunch of scrubs he's made into studs. On the other side of the ball, they were built to defend against a trailing team, so when that didn't happen they were screwed. Freeney, Mathis and Sanders(for a couple years) were/are great, but again, there's a big dropoff in talent.

They were incredible. You gotta hand it to them.F Me In The Brain said:Seattle looks good against the cap next year too -- they will be up against some decisions the year after but they are going to be tough to beat...young, good & now, experienced.
Damn!
Definitely set up for next year. That division is ridiculously sacked, though. Niners will be tough to get by again. Cardinals are on on the rise. Hell, even the Rams are loaded with talent and still have some big draft picks.0
