I hope it snows a foot just to stick it in Goodell's face. So ridiculous that they are having a Super Bowl in NYC in February.

Guessing your team didn't make it. #1 offense vs #1 defense sounds like a great matchup to me. And Vegas odds have flipped a bit and there isn't a clear favorite which sounds like a great matchup to me. But then again, my team's playing so I'm biased. Go Hawks!rick1zoo2 said:it probably won't be a great game to watch.

I have to admit that I like the idea. Not because I'm from NYC because I can't afford tix anyway. Just because I love the grittiness of a snow game. It would benefit the Hawks because the two teams style if play but Peyton has benefited from a done so many times that I find it okay.Indifference71 said:SVRDhand13 said:Snow would absolutely destroy the Broncos chances

Had the Niners made it I would have bought tickets and gone. Went last year down in New Orleans.SVRDhand13 said:

The thing I was trying to reconcile (outside of the price for the tickets of course) was how I would feel if the game took place during a blizzard like the one that hit Philly for the DET game earlier this year....(I know people who were at that game and from up top they said they really could see what was happening at points) OR...more likely, how I would feel if it was 5 degrees out and windy. (Like it is today.) Pay all of that money to sit outside in that shit?
These games belong in warm weather/indoor stadiums. When tickets cost thousands of dollars each you just want to be able to enjoy the experience! The love he receives is the love that is saved0 -
I have sat outside for single-digit games before. It is not a pleasant experience. Factor in the prices of these tickets...I don't think this is an experiment we will see again.___________________________________________

Agree. They are fun for a regular season game or even a playoff game. I've been to plenty, including the Det @ Phi snowbowl this year and the NO @ PHI playoff game. I would not want to sit through that for a Supper Bowl, if I ever get the chance again.

Alright, alright, alright!

Yeah, I've been to plenty of brutally cold and snows Bears games...it is not fun. I'm sure all the rich, corporate types will enjoy sitting in the cold next week.)

couldn't bring myself to tune into it. actually flipped on it at halftime and that band, fallout boy, was playing a horrible song in front of about 30 people who were on the field wearing blue shirts. kind of odd.eeriepadave said:Did anyone actually watch the pro bowl? Today starts Super Bowl week in NYC. I would try to go to one of the events, but I'm sure anything I can afford is not worth the crowds)

Why don't they just name first and second all-star team and donate some cash to charity in the players name and call it a day.. The pro-ball = big waste as are most all-star games theses days.I have certain rules I live by ... My First Rule ... I don't believe anything the government tells me ... George Carlin
