    I'm in no way complaining (I'm not even seeing any shows this tour), but I am surprised at how many times pendulum opens the show. They've never done anything like this that I can remember.. And part of the fun of a PJ concert experience is soaking in that first note because they used to be semi unpredictable.
    This is just weird.

    To me it seems fairly obvious they are using the song as new entrance music, followed by a traditional opener. If it has grown tiresome, when the lights go down, leave your seat for four minutes, come back, and boom...you have a traditional opener to add to your collection.     I find it hilarious and quite sad at the same time that people can say "I've been 6 shows on this tour and got Pendulum every time. I'm sick of it". Go less shows then. Just be grateful you can see them so many times on a tour. I'd love to be in the position to see them 6 times in one tour.

    I do like the song, but I also love guessing what the opener will be with everyone around me at the shows and that mystery is gone this tour. Oh well, guess I will have to guess the 2nd song.

    i think people have to realize that while there are plenty of us that go to multiple shows, the band still has to view each show as a new crowd to a certain extent. I bet there were plenty of people in VA that didn't make it north for the other shows. Last night was certainly someone's first time hearing pendulum. Personally, I like the song a lot, but even if I didn't, I wouldn't get all pissy that they open each show with it.

    I like Pendulum. I enjoyed hearing it open both Worcester 2 and Hartford. That said, what was the best opener of the tour so far? Release --> Long Road at Worcester 1.

    Why can't you see it as a bonus? They play a fucking awesome song as an intro followed with a "traditional" opener afterwards. What are you missing? Have fun guessing that "opener" they'll play after Pendulum. What's to complain about?

    just when you think you've seen it all around here...

    80% of the people in the crowds go to one show per tour. these aren't just shows for fan club members that follow the band for weeks at a time.
    This show, another show, a show here and a show there.
