The Grove at Ole Miss is legendary. I love hanging there before Bama vs. Ole Miss games every couple of years.

Here's a little sample of The Grove, along with a video clip of Collins Tuohy, the young lady who was a cheerleader at Ole Miss, who is the sister of Baltimore Ravens' player, Michael Oher, from the 'Blindside'. Collins, is a hottie (and pretty smart, too) and there are many more like her at Ole Miss.

Yeah, NCAA football is the best North America offers as far as fan activity.

However, coming from Europe, it may seem tame and laid back.

    Washington/Arizona.... very cool.

Personally, Im trying to swing a college football trip this season. The inaugural trip last year saw Kansas State slaughter West Virginia.

You need to come down to the South for an SEC game. Nothing in sports compares to a college football game on a Saturday night at a venue such as Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge, Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa, Jordan-Hare Stadium in Auburn, Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in Gainesville, or Kyle Field in College Station. And, possibly most important, the tailgating at Ole Miss is second to none. The most beautiful women in the country are in Oxford, Mississippi, on Saturdays during the fall.

    Let's go Irish!

But in reality, I'm not expecting much this year...

If I were a gambling man, my money would be on Ohio state this year.

Ohio State will make the championship game, but they will lose to whatever SEC team makes it this year. In all probability that team will be Bama.

Well, the weekly Johnny Manziel scandal broke yesterday afternoon. He's in hot water over allegedly signing autographs for a fee. The Aggie's 2013 season is coming close to imploding at this point because of the huge distraction that Manziel has become. I think they'll probably finish 4th in the SEC West now; I just moved Ole Miss ahead of A&M in my predictions.

Bobby Petrino's scandal led Arkansas to a 4-8 record in 2012, and now it appears that Manziel's foolishness could lead A&M down a similar path; maybe not a 4-8 record, but certainly below another 10+ wins.

Let's see if the Buckeyes can get past another overtime with Purdue, first!

Very disappointing. :( I was really looking forward to Bama traveling out to College Station and getting some payback. Now if we win,it just won't have that same zing to it, if Manziel gets suspended and doesn't play.

Exactly. God forbid someone wanting to wet their beak when they are the product being sold.

I hope the NCAA takes it in the shorts with the EA video game lawsuit. They have taken exact teams and replicated them while only changing to fake names and they keep every penny.

Im not sure what is happening with that. Video games is only a part of that, and EA went ahead and signed a deal with the College Licensing company anyways and it appears they will continue making games...

NCAA has stopped selling Johnny Football jerseys online after getting called out for selling them on the official NCAA website.

I think we are headed towards a Big Ten / SEC mega-division for Div 1 college football when the NCAA goes bankrupt.

    its tough territory. Fucking lawyers

Itll be interesting, but I dont foresee anything good coming of this for me.

Will the Super-Conferences break off to form their own College Football league? (which would kill it for me). Will the NCAA prevent that by using March Madness as leverage?

I really wish Manziel would just go away. So sick of hearing about this little jerkoff.

10 more days til opening night. Towson at Uconn

I'm sure the big 10 will suck again this year. Ohio State should win all of their league games by double digits. Awful

Michigan, Wisconsin, and Northwestern disagree. tO$U is not nearly the juggernaut everyone thinks they are. Even with the cupcake schedule, I could still see them losing 2-3 games. Everyone is basing the hype on what happened last year, when they were not even as good as their record. They would have lost to Bama by 60+ if they had made the NC game.

Michigan has a WR playing QB (black Tannehill)
Wisconsin doesn't have a QB...and a new coach. ASU is going to destroy them in week 3.
NW will end up like they always are...half assed because they can't stop anyone.

I agree about OSU. They play no one though, so it's conceivable that they go undefeated. Their biggest obstacle will be keeping enough players from getting arrested.

The big 10 will stink again. just like every other year. Nebraska is prob the 2nd best team...even with that turd martinez at qb

Gardner at UM was always a QB, just stuck behind Robinson. He was just such a great athlete that they tried moving him to receiver for Robinson's senior year so they could both be on the field. UM Offense could actually be better with him since he can throw more than 5 yards with accuracy.

But I agree, Big Ten not half as good as the SEC despite all the O$U fellatio going on. Maybe the league is on par with the ACC, which is not a compliment by any stretch.

didn't know gardner was originally a QB. I know he did look good there last year. I never liked robinson...he sucked as a passer.

always such an overrated conference. I could actually see minnesota contending this year...that's how bad things are.

anyway, really looking forward to the start of the season.
