They have to fix that targeting rule. The immediate ejection is ridiculous.

Nothing wrong with wanting to see your conference represent well in bowls.

    Especially for the Big Ten.

Bowl games could not be more meaningless. Play them within 2 weeks of the conference championships. I would think less of the games would be blowouts and more entertaining if everyone hasn't just had 4-5 weeks off.

I agree, as i've been saying this for a LONG time too.

Its such a long layoff that it almost doesn't seem like its within the same season.

And he declared. Incredible he stayed through everything. Saved the program in a lot of ways even if didn't have the career we hoped for.

Hope he has a great NFL career, please don't go to the Eagles

I have to think O'Brien had a lot to do with this and if Hack is there and when Houston takes their second pick he'll be a Texan

Still sore over USC holding limited practices prior to the bowl.
(Allowed 15, our genius "players coach" chose to only use 7 and the longest practice was 1 hour 45 mins...some as short as 45 minutes.)
Doesn't show well for a team that fell behind in most games this season and lost half of their coaching staff. If we were not going to try and win or felt that being shorthanded meant we could not try and prepare for the game they should have declined the invitation to the game.
    Fucking embarrassment.

BTW, I root for conference teams to do well except for fUCLA. I would only root for fUCLA if the campus was on fire. (And not truly...I despise them but wouldn't be happy for their campus to burn. Perhaps for all Bruins to get a mild case of crotch rot?)

Holy hell what a disaster couple weeks for Franklin and this team...

Hackenberg and Johnson leave...not terribly surprising

    Lose the big DE commit

    Geno Lewis transferring to Oklahoma

    Shoop likely heading to Tennessee

Now Herb Hand likely headed to Auburn...

Great game last night. Really thought Clemson was going to take it, but the onside kick and then kickoff return TD sealed it for Bama. Clemson with the late TD for the back door cover was quite enjoyable too.
