    ok, so just got a bank cheque made up of over 16G (my savings never looked so freakin bad!!) Thats so much money...feels like a bazillion...but then again, my home loan is :eek: alot. :D

    we just organised our ADSL connection but they said that we might not have it working until the 25th....so Ziggy, now its your turn....will PM you my details....if something happens..I MUST KNOW....for fucks sakes, who disconnects their ADSL at a a time like this!!

    I just signed up for an ADSL2 plan!!! Anyone heard of it? Can download a whole album in under 2 mins apparently....the speed is 1,500-20,000k! MUCH faster than dial up!

    Its all worth it mate trust me!

    After each fortnightly payment (and generally when Im dropping the kids off at the pool), I look down at a tap in the bath or a 1 inch x 1 inch tile on the floor and say "wicked I own that now"

    Small steps!

    yep, ive heard of it, thats seriously fast, i think you can stream high definition video too which is pretty crazy

    Don't worry, when you've got a mortgage, there's no need for savings, what would the point of them be anyway? :)

    Does anyone else think the first sentence in that RS article doesn't make sense? Well, in any case, I can't get it to...

    I know what you mean, but the worse thing you can do is figure out howmuch your spending on your repayments and compare it to how much is actually being paid off the principal. That's depressing!

    did anyone else notice that between pages 45 and 46 they left out the words "had a"

    its suppose to say
    "you could say we had a mission to sabotage our career"

    but it says
    "you could say we mission to sabotage our career"
