And the Scuderia look good in P2. Meaningless, but good to see regardless.

Soft tires on this track are about as useful as tits on a bull, it seems. Should make for an excellent first 5 laps in the race when the front runners all make mad dashes for the pits.

Monaco was the first F1 race I watched on tv as a kid, I still love watching the cars rip through the streets.

Everyones expecting Merc to be strong, maybe even win. Go Massa! :D

I can see it happening, they're definite pole favourites.
It's great to see a car fly through that track, but as a race it is junk.

If it trains up, ya it can become a snooze fest.

But all it takes is a little action, and the race can get quite interesting very quickly.

Remember when Schumi Blocked Alonso in Monaco to secure the pole? Then got dropped to last place, then ran the field up to 4th? That was a great Monaco race!

Yeah it's easy to have some interesting pileups.

Remember Ruebens running into the manhole cover? I think it may have been the same time he threw his steering wheel back into the track.

look what the cat dragged out :lol: the F1 thread!

    go Kimi!

Monaco is a cool track. What stinks is that I have to watch it on NBC including “Mimosas from Monaco.”

Can't really blame him, but I think he got an earful for the steering wheel too.

Where was it last week after a Ferrari win, I'm falling down on the job.

Also I'm very glad the FIA stepped in and blocked Pirelli from wussing up the tires, stupid Red Bull...
They will probably make them harder regardless "to prevent delamination".

There is always some drama about the tires. No matter who makes them.

True, and I'm not really a fan of the tires this year (Pirelli are doing what they were asked so it is what it is) but the whining to have them changed to work with your car because you can't change your car to work with the tires was old before it started.

Unless it suits my team, of course, in which case carry on!

Merc looking fast at Monaco, as expected. Ferrari up there for now as well.
P3 is where it starts to count though.

Well not a shocking first place for the #@$!& Red Bull.
A few good tussles throughout the rest of the field, a few near accidents.

Also a marshall was killed when he got ran over by the mobile crane clearing VDG's car....dropped his radio and then fell over when he bent over to pick it up and was run over by the crane...whole thing seems so foolish to have happened.
