    I have been a Zeppelin fan for my whole music listening life.
    Having said that... I admit that I was half expecting 3 has-beens and a wannabe putting together a tired, faintly Zeppelin sounding performance.

    NOPE.

    They are still the real deal.

    This is a band that has only played a few one-offs in the 27 years (at the time of this show) since Bonzo's death. Imagine how they'd sound with a whole-hearted passionate effort and new material... (sigh)

    Question for the deluxe owners are the rehearsal tapes in 5.1 and what is your opinion on that disk?

    There are some reviews on the official Zeppelin forums but the rehersal is just one camera at quite a distance but the sound quality is said to be of top quality and many people seem to rate the addition of it in the set. I get mine on Friday :D

    Thanks I picked up the deluxe edition last night didn't watch the rehearsals yet but the blue ray is awesome. My only complaint was when they cut to the 4x3 camera angles that was a little annoying.

    Just watched some of the rehearsals sounds great but not in 5.1

    My dad and I watched a few songs on the blu-ray and it looks spectacular on blu-ray.
