Just got an email from Amazon about estimated delivery dates for the Celebration Day vinyl and it says February. I guess it'll be an early birthday present for me.

Thank you! Apparently sucking at my punctuation too :D

Do you have the Heart Zeppelin tribute with Jason Bonham? There was no stopping the tears at that point especially when the camera kept cutting to Robert Plant tearing up.

That was a really great tribute. Only one I didn't really like was Kid Rock. Heart w/ Jason Bonham and the choir gave me chills! Also enjoyed seeing President Obama sing along :)

The Obamas really love them some Lenny :D I actually enjoyed that entire tribute, even Kid Rock. The respect is so evident and they in turned were so appreciative. Also loved the Buddy Guy tribute.

Foo's were awful. Should be ashamed. Grohl claims to worship at the alter of Bonham and can't even that closing fill right.

Kid Rock was predictable but decent.

The Zep boys didn't seem too impressed with those 2 either.

    Kravitz was really good.

Heart w/choir was pretty amazing, but the hats were a little cheesy and seemed kinda out of touch.

Jack Black was pretty kickass with the whole intro.

Great to see Zep get acknowledged and top billing. Seemed like the First Lady was a real legit Zep head.

While Presley inspired members of Led Zeppelin years earlier, Elvis had only heard one of their songs -- "Stairway to Heaven" -- when mutual promoter Jerry Weintraub hooked Presley up with Robert Plant and Jimmy Page in 1972. At Presley's Vegas suite, the meeting was initially awkward, with few words exchanged, according to Cameron Crowe, writing for the Daily Telegraph. Finally, Elvis asked, "Is it true, these stories about you boys on the road?"

Plant, without cracking a smile, said, "Of course not -- we're family men. In fact, I get the most pleasure out of walking the hotel corridors, singing your songs." Then Plant offered his best impersonation of Elvis singing the country song "Love Me."

Elvis and his bodyguards burst out laughing, and the ice was broken.

Two hours later, as Plant and Page were walking down the corridor outside Presley's room, Elvis -- looking quite pleased with himself -- poked his head out the door and began singing, "Treat me like a fooooool," channeling Plant's impression of him.

"I turned around and did my best Elvis right back at him," Plant told the Sunday Mercury.

Page tells a different version. Somebody in the Zeppelin camp brought up a hot rod that Elvis drove in some movie to break the ice. Read the bit about Plant's impression though.

I know they tend to edit performances on the broadcast, but did they edit Heart's performance?
