good for them. A wise man once said "you vote every day with your dollar"

I would like to see interested family members of vicitims run a firing sqaud on the murderer. Make it a Pay Per View event with proceeds to victims families. Now we're talking.

This is why every owner of a gun and ammo store is secretly praying that Obama gets re-elected.

This is the stupidest fucking thing I've ever seen.

How would more people armed in that theater have helped? A gun in a dark theater filled with tear gas would've ended in more deaths.

Right, as long as you're immune to the effects of tear gas it's an easy shot.

Cool, sounds like a plan, until the cops show up and see the flashes coming from your barrel? :corn:

yea yea yea...real funny but guess what..they did it because they can, this is America and we have the 2nd ammendment we haven't given up our right to protect ourselfs.
    BTW
I believe that the first sign of that tear gas container and a few people would have had guns drawn and quite possibly smoked that punk if there were armed citizens in that theater, you all can keep making up reasons to ban guns and make jokes about it but look at the bottom line here..,.we still got em. ;)

Has the subway scene from Predator 2 taught us nothing when groups of armed citizens face of with criminals in a dark chaotic atmosphere?

    :fp:

My advice is, instead of using the money on a gun, why not use it on a nice home theater system instead. The popcorn is cheaper, strangers cell phones wont go off, and you can fast-forward through the ads.

ok, i have stayed out of these 2 treads but I have to say something now. to begin, do you really believe that having the 2nd amendment protects you. lets say that i am a good shot and from a roof top i starting shooting down at people. yes maybe at some point someone might kill or injure me but by the time that is done many people can be killed. what if one of those people is you? are you protected? NO!

now as for Gun control. the main issue that I see is not just the amount of guns that are open for people to buy but the state of mind that comes from a person saying I need to shoot someone for whatever reason.

so while you can yes say "we still have them" do you feel safe? in many rough areas many people have guns and yet people are still killed there.

sorry fife but I can't see your point being valid, life if full of what if's so we all we can do is protect ourselfs and our familys as best we can and if a gun is needed then so be it.

Wait, wait, even better...what if you're in a glass bubble on the bottom of the ocean with nothing but an old western six-shooter. A shark comes along and asks you for directions, but you know he's just setting you up, so you send him the wrong way. Meanwhile, Captain Ahab drives by in a self-propelled submarine and points his torpedo at you. What to do, what to do? You can maybe shoot him but can you get him before the torpedo is set loose? Even worse, when your bullet breaks your glass bubble, can you hold your breath long enough to get to the surface?? Oh no my pistola is useless!

While the gunman was armed... With other people running around screaming. The last thing I'd want if I was in this situation is some asshole thinking he's dirty harry trying to 'Save the day'...

asked the victims of the DC sniper if having a gun made them feel safer? the reality is that having guns on the streets is not safe and having more people with guns is not safe.
