    umm, good luck w/that. i am a hophead and hoptimum was over the top for me.

    i tried a single 3 different times and each one was ok, but i'd rather have a $3.99 750ml hopstoopid any day of the week.

    That's a great price. I've never seen a 750ml bottle of any beer for $3.99.

    That's a great price. I've never seen a 750ml bottle of any beer for $3.99.

    edit, $4.29 at specs (cash only), deal o' century for hops goodness.

    i take that back, deal o' century would be $1 Pliny's and/or Hopslams by the fkn bucket before a pj gig.

    The 10th Anniversary Ruination is a different recipe. I think it's even more bitter (in a good way) and has more alcohol. I liked it a lot.
    Drinking mine now and down to the last 4-5 oz. :cry: Have to buy more. :D

    I have more than 100 I collected over the last 6 months. I had them around my garage but have packed them in boxes. Originally I just collected the painted labels but a lot of the beers I'm buying are limited. One day I hope to wallpaper with them.

    Finally had the Saison du Buff from Stone/Dogfish/Victory, sadly I didn't enjoy it that much...I listened to a guy at the brewery recommend it, and man it was a dissapointment...
    That being said, I had a fresh Smoked Porter w/ Chipotle Peppers and it was delish!
    The 10th Anny Ruination is sublime and I'll be filling my ample belly and a growler of it next Tuesday!
    Finally had a Pliny the Elder (Stone serves it) and it is worth the hype. What a tasty bevvy...

    It does not disappoint. It may not be the balanced masterpiece that Pliney is, but when you drink Hoptimum, you damn well know you're drinking Hoptimum. Love it. Cheers!

    Weird, the image seems to have resized in the night. When I first posted (the image of Ruination 10th Anniv, a couple posts above), it was super tall and skinny. Took up half the scrolling height of the thread page. Now it has resized to what I was going for -- smaller and lower-res.

    Grabbed a 10th Anny Ruination and the reg Ruination because I've never had it before. Also, one more 120 IPA and a Founders Devil Dancer. Should I bother grabbing another 10th? It was only $1 more than the regular. $33 for 4 beers! I could have bought 60 MIller Lites for that. Sometimes I think spending that much is a little crazy but "It's so good when it hits your lips."

    I have a large set of shelves in my garage that is packed to the gills with one each of every different kind of beer we've had since last summer...almost out of room. I keep the bomber size bottles on top of my fridge usually but that's about to change because there's no more room to stuff one. This was my friend's idea and somehow now it's all my clutter.....I keep thinking...one day i'm going to have to get rid of all this shit...but people who come to the house always enjoy digging around the shelves
    All I have to do is revel in the everyday....then do it again tomorrow
