Be sure to hit up Crux if you haven't had their stuff yet. They came out making great beer right away. I've been a little disappointed in Worthy as their beer hasn't matched how gung-ho they went with facilities and marketing. It's not bad, just average. It'll probably get better over time.

Went to Three Floyd's yesterday...wow! There were four of us and between us we ordered everything they had on tap. When we first sat down the server recommended Blot Out The Sun because it was about to run out. It was a Russian Imperial Stout 10%ABV and 97 IBU. It ws the miost incredible stout I've ever had. Even though it was bitter it started out sweet. Incredibly flavorful. I would make the drive again solely for that beer.

The place is amazing. The food is incredible and they play metal and hardcore inside. I highly recommend checking it out!

Stopped a local hole in the wall liquor store near my house yesterday. Place stacks their inventory in the isles. They had cases of Corona and other garbage stacked up in front of half of their craft brew shelves. Anyway I did get a 4 pack of Founders Russian Imperial Stout and a wax dipped bottle of Hinterland Bourbon Barrel Doppelbock. Apparently the wax is nearly impossible to get off and all of the reviews talk about how it takes 10 minutes to open and might include a trip to the emergency room. I will try heating it up with a blow drying and cutting it off with the foil cutter on my wine opener. :fp:

They also had a 4 pack of Founders Cerise. Cherry flavored ale or something. Anybody ever try this?

mmmmm.... dreadnaught... I remember that one as my favorite from FFF...

Glad you enjoyed the Endeavor... it my opinion it's definitely one of the best IPA's produced in Texas.

The Black Metal stout is incredible too though... make sure to be careful with that one... it's almost 11% ABV, and you'd never notice if you didn't read the label.

The resort I was at in Colorado actually had a bunch of beers from a local brewery on tap... none of them were that great though... wish i remembered the name of the brewery... it also didn't help that the bar staff had no idea what beer was what though... depending on who was serving me I'd get either a blonde or an amber every time I ordered the pale ale... :fp: ... at least the place was all inclusive :D ... and really that's the only fault I could find with the entire weekend... the resort was gorgeous..
Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.

All we get up here is the Jai Alai, Florida Cracker, and Madura. I am thinking that a trip to Tampa over Memorial Day weekend is in order so I can hit up the brewery and pick up as much CC as I possibly can and bring back with me
