    I randomly turned in VH1 earlier and caught the end of the 'Back and Forth' doc and got sooo into it... Now great, my 13 year old Dave Grohl crush is back on....I love the fact that he is such an honest fan of music first and foremost and just wants to experience it all. First time i've seen any behind the footage/interviews on the rest of the band too.....Its awesome to watch him and Taylor and how close they are.

    That's a great movie! I really like how Will and Franz also got to tell everyone their perspective. Dave threw Franz out by giving him a phonecall...and this to a guy who he had been in a band with for years and who had been a kind of mentor for him...I felt so bad for Franz watching that! Still, I enjoyed also getting to see the darker aspects.

    Yeah, that was sad to see the way he let Franz out of the band. It was great to see Franz' band open for FF on their club tours to promote "Wasting Light" at the end of the movie.

    Yeah, true...Scream are pretty great, I saw them in Vienna this January....tiniest club I've seen a non-local show in in years, they were setting up everything by themselves, and basically dropped the microphone and went over to the merch table. They did seem like they were enjoying themselves, but I couldn't help thinking, wow, to have been in a band as big as FF and then go back to this, must feel very weird.

    new tour dates:

    August 13 - Villa Manin, Udine, Italy
    August 15 - O2 Arena, Prague, Czech Republic

    will be going to see them in prague...hoping that arena is nice as I'll now be seeing shows there twice this summer ;)

    not going to prague now, their ticketing system is crap and lots of the special front of stage area tickets were taken up by the touts...I'm not spending money to be in the back somewhere, I've seen those guys 20 times so I'm not too desperate to just be in the house. It still freaking sucks though. :x :cry:
