    with Boise having a less than stellar recruiting class (according to the "experts" :roll: ), ESPN summed up their recruiting pitch like this:

    "come to boise....maybe we'll go undefeated and be in the BCS discussion....or we'll lose once and be playing an early december bowl on a tuesday night"

    I will. Should get an easy trip to the Big 10 Championship game, as you will probably finish ahead of us but will be ineligible. The only other good team in the division is Penn St and they are going to be down for a few years too. I don't see IL, PUR, or IN winning the division, so based on the circumstances I like the Badgers chances of getting back to Indy, but probably getting beat by Mich St or Michigan.

    Not much recruiting talk over the last few days. Heck, down in SEC country, college football recruiting takes up much more news than the Super Bowl. Recruiting is where you win and lose national championships. You have to have good x's and o's coaching, but you really must have coaches who are great evaluators of talent and can then develop that talent.

    So we may be close to getting a final 4 but the stupid Big Ten and Pac 12 are concerned about the tradition of the Rose Bowl. So you are telling me as a Big Ten or Pac 12 school, if you finished 3 or 4, you would rather play in the rose bowl, than have a chance at the national championship? Unreal, time these old traditionalist AD's retire and get some younger people running things who don't give a shit about this lame ass tradition.

    yeah, At least a 4 team playoff would be a start in the right direction. I like the idea of semifinals being played at the higher seeded schools campus. I know the Rose bowl pays out, but so do the other BCS ones now too. I think Delaney wants to make sure that if the B10 gets a team in the final 4, the 2nd place B10 team will still go to the Rose Bowl.

    Delaney and the Big Ten will always do what is best for the Big Ten.
