Travel tips just received from joelyc from Australia who did the 2010 Eiro tour for those also travelling from afar:
best tip is to stay away from eating out all the time... grocery shopping will save you big bucks.... and the europeans are quite rough in moshpits and take the whole PJ thing way to seriously,,, if you want front row your going to have to line up the night before
