  • Can anything be done for those of us who actually had tickets in our basket, and had entered all the credit card info and were in the process of checking out when the system crashed?
I was alone and far away when I heard the band start playing!

...I was always a DeadHead, but when I first heard Winston Rodney, aka the Burning Spear, sing, I became a SpearHead too!

Why no communication on Tuesday night ... a simple you can go to bed nothing else will happen today as was done with previous ticket sale problems. We understand there can be problems but a we don't know whats happening, we're sorry, go to bed is all we needed.

Why on Wednesday was the announcement sent out after most of Europe was already asleep. Understandable that it had to wait until Seattle was awake but it wasn't received until 00.00-02.00 European time when some of the sales it referred to were starting first thing.

Slanket, Snuggie, or neither? Just wondering what your preference is. Thanks.
  • Hey Kelly,

It is really nice of you to take the time to do this.

    My question is:

Can we go back to post cards and money orders? My guess is no, but maybe this is best, the good old fashion way, kinda like playing a record!

    Peace,

    Brian

can the band / management do anything to help those of us who would have got tickets to shows originally, but missed out due to the public on sale sell outs?
while we wish we could. we have never been able to guarantee tickets to every fan club member. we try and be clear as possible.
  • Can I just say what a brilliant job the club does for it's fans...

I think some of us have become spoilt and lost sight of what we get...

I for one think that presales for 2009 Europe were incredibly simple and easy... Is that something to do with letting the locals buy first? I don't recall anything like this week before. Wembley was tough but certainly not impossible.

Please don't hand over to Ticketmaster.

I think there is something in the demand from the whole world coming in at once...

Please just keep trying, that's enough for me...I'm a member of a number of other fan clubs and frankly people should be aware that no matter what Tenclub is still a thousand miles better than any other club - especially in terms of ticket sales... And the Ts and Cs state there is no guarantee of pre sale tickets...

Thanks again for everything. And, you do not have to explain yourself at all , the value for membership is brilliant.

first question is, what happened? what was the "sabotage"?
honestly, we do not know. what we do know is that since the alpine/canadian fiasco.. we have sought out the best ticketing company that we could find. we selected a state of the art company called crowd surge. who have have successfully handled massive ticket sales for paul mccartney, rhcp, and foo fighters. they've never had problems like this ever. so, we have a completely different company, system, server, staff in completely different cities.. and we have a very similar problem.... if you have any ideas.. please send our way

    interesting

given the fan base pearl jam has, do you think it's time to deal with ticketmaster? i know you don't want to and as a fan of this band i don't want you to but i think this aspect of the band can't be diy...any thoughts?
  • - Will there be any measures to "compensate" the 10c members that were caught in this nightmare and didn't score any desired tickets for this tour?

Why was there no 10c announcement of the second Manchester show?
we would never assume that we would automatically get to two shows.... sometimes we don't get there.
  • Can we just go back to 3x5 cards, money orders, mail-in like 2003? Maybe even 1 show per tour? It went smoothly then. The 1 show per tour would give a home city advantage with regard to seat location. At LA Gibson, I had to pick 1 show out of 4. That was the rule and that was fine. Ticketing was easy and the seating was remarkable compared to what I usually get.

I'm very thankful that 10c constantly tries to improve things. I feel bad to see such anger when you are trying to improve things and people don't appreciate that. You listened many times in the past, for example seating up the sides vs. rear floor. Sometimes, maybe, when things are attempted, unforeseen problems arise. I just wanted to say I appreciate all you do. I cast my one vote in the direction of the old, vintage mail/money order method.

Is the money we give the band annually in dire economic times taken seriously at all? We're not all rock stars....

When will the band come back to ALPINE VALLEY? Thanks.
Do you know what it's like to fall in the mud and get kicked... in the head... with an iron boot? Of course you don't, no one does. It never happens. Sorry, Ted, that's a dumb question... skip that.

Would love to get an update on the PJ20 LE BluRay that Cameron Crowe spoke to you about 2 weeks ago.

Is it time for us who missed the opportunity to buy to move on, or are you looking at alternative options. We've got a 500+ user petition going on, not sure if you heard. Just a yes or no answer would be great.

Cameron Crowe told me directly "your voices will be heard"...just want to follow-up.

Is it possible to that 10C could improve its communication to fans? We always hear of tour news or any PJ news on external sites and eventually from 10C days later.

    6. Are the actual band members kept up-to-date with the problems that 'joe public' have went through?
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.
