I am one of most of my friends who have been in Ten Club since the early to mid nineties and who missed out last Tuesday with the Crowdsurge presale. After two sleepless nights and being a danger driving to work and not really productive either, I still managed to get some seats and some standings for two of the concerts we had plans for. But I am really nervous now for tomorrow's presale, because it is the only chance and about half the world seems to want to see them in my country. My main complaint is the total lack of communication. So here are my questions:
- why did you decide to stop it instead of still giving people a chance to get through?
- why did all 6 concerts go for sale at the same time?
- why not give local fans priority for their home concerts?
- why did you not use the same companies that are used for the general sales?
- was there a plan B in case this would happen?
- if not, why not?
- why can not all presales be in weekends so people don't have to cancel meetings and take hours or days off?
- why were you so strict with the renewal date, even though some people had technical problems that made them be too late?
- why all the hurry and the short times between the announcement, the Ten Club sale and the regular ones?
- were you aware of all the people who could not sleep from Tuesday to Thursday because they did not get any news and needed to keep watching?
- how many Ten Club members are there?
- and why did you still not send out a tweet or a Facebook message when you knew about the second Manchester?
- are any other second shows planned?
- will we get any sort of compensation for missed tickets and time?
- do you read from fans on other places than the official forum?
and I have a lot more questions but I don't want to flood you.
thanks, and groetjes from the Netherlands,

The fans waited for over 24 hours without hearing anything and Crowdsurge indicated that that they were also waiting for information from Pearl jam's camp.
I don't understand. What information? That you thought it "might" be sabotage? Your statement read like it had been vetted by a lawyer. Was that the reason for the delay?___________________________________________

Is our personal information safe? Do we need to be worried about our credit card information?0

I think the overall idea with ticket sales on tenclub's site is great. However, it seems to be an IT issue has affected the last few tour onsales.
Do you have professionals working on your backend to insure technology is up to date and has enough capacity? Do you think you had a breach in security?0 -

The problem with ticketing was really bad. But the big issue, to me, was that the lack of communication from the Ten Club personnel. If they'd just given an occasional status to everyone it would have eased the tension. I'm a software engineer. Whenever I'm working on a software problem I have to keep the users informed . . . what have we checked, what have we ruled out, what are we still going to look at, is there any way of knowing how long it will take, etc. I tell them as much as I know at any given time, and let them know when to expect another update. People just want to know what's going on. I think they can forgive problems if they know you're doing everything you can to resolve it.
Also, is the "sabotage" being investigated? Will we find out what caused the problems? Is the band aware fo how bad the problems were? Thanks Kelly.0 -
Hi Kelly
Personally for me, and I know for many of the member, the fact of not knowing, having any clue was the biggest problem. You guys only needed to write 1 line.
"We are very sorry of the recent events. We are waiting for more information and will get back to you."
But we got nothing. That was so wrong.
Why it took so long to give some news?
I just hope we do not go through this ever again.
Thanks for your time.0 -
Just one more suggestion: please make Ten Club tickets transferable from one member to another. It should be technically easy to implement, and I can only see benefits. You could even limit it to a certain amount of times.

why would we come up with the ideas? YOU'RE THEIR MANAGER! I'm a school teacher and wouldn't ask you how to teach a good WWI lesson on trench warfare.0 -
prl wrote:- Why sell the tickets all at the same time?
- Knowing how badly the previous ticket sales went, why such a short time frame between the 10C presale and the public sales (giving absolutely no time to fix anything that can go wrong)?
- Why giving only a few days between the announcement of the tour and the presales, not letting people have the time to determine if they can go and make proper plans? (not a new thing happens on every tour)
Thanks for doing this!0 -
ticketing issues have been happening on this site for years. we pay our money hoping that "maybe next time will be finally be different" and yet there are always people who have the damndest time getting tickets, a privilege they have payed for (and are now asked to pay more for). after 5+ years of site issues, the ticketing is finally outsourced and the process is still a giant clustermess. "sabotage" or not, this has long been a problem and it has never been adequately addressed. and the continual lack of communication and information on top of that piles on to an already crappy situation.
so my question is simply this: where is the accountability? accountability for continuing to not get ticket sales to run smoothly, accountability for lack of and poor communication, accountability for what has been a growing trend of dissatisfied customers? you might not see that last one in membership numbers/dollars, but it's all over this site and at the shows. it's most likely the reason you are here right now, mr. curtis.
thank you for your time.Post edited by AndySlash on0 -
