I have msg'd Cameron Crowe to follow-up on our last communication from over a week ago. Can as *many* of you "like" my comment, so he knows there is still insane demand for this???
Click here and click "like" to my comment. But only if you agree (awww, hell, even if you don't agree, give me a thumbs up, will ya?) http://disq.us/4hbdog
I really think strong support will help - and we haven't had much reason to be optomistic recently. This is a good opp.

117 pages long, so I'm not gonna read the whole thread.
I just wanna say that ltd. ed. is a cool thing. Mostly. I mean if you're a collector you will appreciate the nice packaging, cards and pictures and whatever they throw in there. What bothers me is when content becomes limited. Especially on such a big release as PJ20. In most countries it didn't even get in theatres.
In my mind it's something a bit un-Pearl Jam about making a lot of extra material and deleted scenes only available to those lucky few who got the ltd.ed. version. I mean the box was kinda pricey itself, but not too much. Until you add shipping to Europe. And the taxes I would have to add to get it through norwegian customs. So I had to hold out ordering and then it was gone. To me Pearl Jam has very much been about fairness, allowing fans to get reasonably priced tickets and goods, doing as much as possible to make fans be able to enjoy shows and live recordings, etc.. And now, if you want to be dedicated you're getting ripped off on eBay for $500... I could buy a decent guitar for that money. I don't wish to sound like I'm dissing the band or anything... I just think it's an odd decision.
Too bad. I really want the blu-ray and I really want all the extra material. It would have been cool to own the nice box-set, but now I would settle if they released it with all the extra footage, but without all the other stuff. Not that anyone will ever care, what I think, but were kinda PJ-starved here in Scandinavia. Looking forward to the first gig here in 12 years....
Of course, the ones who could get the box-set, will think it's absolutely super great that others couldn't. Because that makes it a more rare item in their collection, and ups the value. I've read a few really awful comments towards those who said they couldn't afford to pre-order. Not very sympathetic..? One could mistake Pearl Jam fans for Dave Matthews Band fans with such attitudes....

It's #1 on my wishlist too!!! PJ20 is too huge not to share, especially with the fans... and as stated above, sadly, the movie wasn't shown in many European countries... it also wasn't shown in Utah!
