All high alcohol content too. We'll see if I make it through all of them. Usually not a problem for regular beer but not sure if I will be up for all of these. Guess we'll see how this Penn State and world series game go.

Wow you will have a good night haha. Weyerbacher is like 10% I think. I've tried them all before except the Hennepin.

We started off at the Banff Ave. Brewing company for a few IPAs. Now it is a selection of hoppy brews courtesy of a Phillips Brewing Hop Box. (12 ipa type beers packaged together). If we get through those we have some IPAs from Wildrose Brewery (hometown brews from Calgary, AB), some St. Ambroise Pumpkin Ales, an Imperial Pumpkin Ale from Howe Sound Brewery and a Dead Guy from Rogue awaiting.
  • Anyone here try the Southern Tier Imperial PumKing? Everyone raves about this shit, so I picked up two of the big bottles this weekend and didn't enjoy it at all.

I didnt have it this year, but had it last year and enjoyed it. Actually had a 1/6 keg of it with some buddies before the game the Yanks won the ALDS last year, needless to say, it was quite a disaster.

I like it in small doses. The wife loves it. My favorite pumpkin ale is Cigar City's Good Gourd. Dogfish Head's Punkin is pretty good too.
I wish I was as fortunate, as fortunate as me.

I love it and I don't like pumpkin beer although I use the fall as an excuse to try it and as many different varieties as possible

    i tried a black lager once....once...

don't remember the brand, but it was very confusing to me...

dark beer should be alot more roasty....

with the blackc lager, it's like they took a budweiser and added food coloring.

Last night I had three different pumpkin ales: Smuttynose, Blue Point, and Dogfish Head. Tonight I will be having a couple Octoberfests. I am almost ready for some winter beers.
