  • Had some Shiner Blonde over the weekend....absolutely zero distinguishable taste....swill.
It was almost to the point I thought I had a rotten pack but from what I've seen other people say about it it truly is that bad....which surprises me because I've liked the other shiners i've tried
All I have to do is revel in the everyday....then do it again tomorrow

They say every sin is deadly but I believe they may be wrong...I'm guilty of all seven and I don't feel too bad at all

Finally had a Dogfish Head 120 Minute at Birreria, the Eatly Beer Garden yesterday. Was awesome. Insane how a beer can be that strong and taste that great.

Here's what I drank yesterday at World of Beer while watching football:

    Cigar City Hotter Than Helles
    Brooklyn Pennant Ale '55
    Sprecher Black Bavarian
    Victory HopDevil
    North Coast Old Rasputin
    Trappistes Rochefort 10
    Weihenstephaner Vitus

Needless to say, the wife drove me home.
I wish I was as fortunate, as fortunate as me.

The style variation between brands is huge in pumpkin beers. Some are really good and some are pretty bad. Knowing which one you had may help us steer you toward something better.

Well if you hated Pumking, you may just not like pumpkin beers. To each their own. Drink what you enjoy. There are so many styles out there so there's no point in wasting your time with one you don't enjoy.

just looked it up it's rating

beeradvocate gives it an A- and ratebeer gives it a 98

    i give it an F and a 0

if you like pumpkin beers, drink away...enjoy them, but i'll pass...

i can't remember ever not finishing the first beer of a night, last beer sure, that happens, but never the first beer...not until the pumking showed up in my glass.
