    Pathetic. His average is garbage, his OBP is garbage. Still a productive hitter and still brings a lot of power to the lineup but certainly not the superstar they signed in 2009. Hopefully he can get his average and OBP back up next year. Certainly alarming trend in his statistic though. Frustrating year.

    Not good at all. That at bat in the 9th was as frustrating as it gets. He either pops it up, swings and misses by a mile or hits a home run. He's really got to get his shit together this offseason.

    When they signed him he was a .290/.378/.541 career hitter. 2009 was fantastic and in line with his career stats but since the beginning of last season he is a .253/.357/.494 hitter. Not what the Yanks signed up for.

    That's why I do it on the side among other reasons, I think the travel would be too much for anyone. You're in the day and age where you need four people to split the beat at least for the big papers.
