hmnnn pick your poison ...... gotta go for the division and the tigers obviously ....verlander twice is not good but at least its home field

I'd take the division and home field. Verlander could have a bad game 1 and Yankees could get an early jump on the series if he has a bad game 1.

Yeah, I'll take home field advantage every time.

The Rangers may not have a Verlander-type pitcher but they're pretty damn good all around.

Whereas I think Detroit actually has a losing record in games not pitched by Verlander.

Which is why they'll have Verlander pitch Games 1,2, and 3.

El Duque officially retired. Man, he was awesome. Something about the playoffs got him going. What a fun pitcher to watch. One of my favorites from the 90's. So much so that I was given a pretty sweet big ass picture of the leg kick sequence autographed by him for a birthday a while back.

I would prefer the division. More home games, more confidence. Fuck Boston.

I'll always remember him not being able to get the ball out of his glove and throwing the glove to Tino for the out.

Yeah, man. That was great. Game 4 of the 1998 ALCS is the game I will always remember. Saturday night and I watched the game with my old man. Great times.

I think I was out to dinner that game because every Saturday my grandfather would take the family out to dinner, but we went back to his house and watched the rest of the game. Dominating performance.

That's terrible. I have the kc announcers who are actually great and they couldn't even believe it. That's as clear as it gets

Ball hit the top of the fence, they reviewed it and called it a home run. Terrible call.

Mariano was livid. They had to hold him back. Never seen him this upset about anything.

Really? I missed that. I have to find a video of that. It takes a lot to piss him off.
