Missed yesterdays game, was in New York at meetings all day. Seemed like a good one though, Took advantage of a big mistake. Should be a fun series this weekend. Some good pitching match ups.

    Granderson is unreal.

3 more hits for Jeter, granted two were infield singles.

From now on, every time he comes in, the scoreboard guys should show this picture with Rivera's image on it:

It's crazy how little talk there is about it but Arod comes back next week. That makes the lineup significantly better.

sad but true. but don't feel too bad for him, he has the major league baseball equal of a no-show construction job..

Difference is, he doesn't want a no show job. He wants to play and play well which he can't do anymore.

I don't think hes' retiring although he should. The toughest thing to read in that article was how there is no chance he will be on the post season roster. That's sad. Like I said the other day, enjoy it when he gets ABs because there aren't too many left.

I will be at the last home game of the season against Boston. They better play him. Hip hip jorge is going to be louder than ever.

It's really tough seeing these guys finish up their careers. I certainly will never like another group of Yankees players as much as I like these guys.

Ha, true. I am getting all sentimental about baseball players not thinking about my ass getting old.

I'm trying to not think about Jeter's time to retire. I don't know what I'll do when he retires. It'll be a sad time for me because he's the reason I wanted to play baseball and love baseball. It was tough for me when Pettite retired. I don't know if I'll be able to watch baseball as much as I do when Jeter retires.

    Neily is right.

Couldn't believe what I saw.... Felt like we weren't close, even though we were within a swing of the bat most of the night

Weird night, Philly cheesesteak was tasty
