    What is the story behind brain gordon? I'm looking forward to a young energetic prospect coming up to hopefully provide a spark. In the Joba, Cano realm hopefully!

    he is 32 years old bouncing around the minors. was with the Phillies AAA team but had an out clause that any team could pick him up and put him on their major league roster right away - the clause runs out like at the end of this week so the yanks took a chance. he was ripping up in AAA this year but as mentioned is 32 years old.

    We just played a great game and you ask me that? I don't even know exactly what happened. A strain? Well, obviously, everyone knows what he's going up for, and he's the captain, we're going to miss him a lot, but then again we're trying to pick up where he left off. Gardy did a great job leading off for us tonight. I know he's excited about the opportunity to lead off for a little bit. But definitely when he's ready, we'll be ready for him to come back. He's a great player, definitely an elite, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. The show goes on.''

    He's right, you can't dwell on these, just keep playing.

    I hear you, man. Just didn't realize it was that bad. 11 is a lot but they did have a big win and I hear what he's saying.

    Terrible pitchout, yes but Cervelli is the best catcher in the league at throwing the ball into centerfield.
