pretty crazy you can make a movie about a real life event that essentially incriminates someone who's never been convicted ...
in any case - a really dark movie ... overall, didn't quite work for me as it seemed to be caught between being a suspense piece and a character-driven piece ..
NICE!!! So are you in the movie then?0 -

That's awesome. They film a lot of movies in our town too. They were here at the beginning of April for Silent Hill. They just happen to get the eerie snow that falls like ashes too.
It's fascinating to experience parts of a movie being filmed and then watching it in the completed form. Movies are awesome.
Lots of love, light and hugs to you all!0 -

Agreed, but what do you expect. Even in a fictional story Fox is awful for news."A lot more people are capable of being big out there that just don't give themselves a chance." -Stone Gossard0 -

I was living in New Orleans when they were filming Runaway Jury with Gene Hackman and John Cusack, and I watched them film a scene in front of the courthouse right around the corner from my apartment, and then I saw it in the movie. It was awesome! Aside from that, I watched them film a Leann Rimes video from my balcony (they were doing it in the alley below my apt). Those were about my only two brushes with that.

Blue Valentine...um yeah, not what I thought it was going to be...I found it continuously frustrating watching people repeat old patterns because they were safe...so the ending was fitting in my eyes. I probably would not recommend it though.Lots of love, light and hugs to you all!0

I thought "Blue Valentine" was excellent. The acting, directing, and editing were some of the best I saw from last year's crop. Yes it's deeply depressing but I haven't seen such an uncompromisingly raw and honest film in a looooooong time. I wish I hadn't have watched it the same weekend that I finally got around to watching "127 Hours" though. Man those were 2 brutal movies to go back to back on such as celebratory weekend as this (with the announcement coming and all). I need to go watch The Muppet Movie or something now.0 -
Harry Potter Deathly Hallows part one yesterday. Kept up with all the movies. I swear it takes me an hour just to catch up and remember everything, and I ask my wife throughout who characters are because there are just so frikkin many of them and I forget. Good movie, mine as well see the last one in theaters. Will have to break out my elbows to get through all the kids in the theater..0

I agree that the movie was very well done. The honesty was excellent, I agree there also. I wouldn't recommend it because it would depress people who don't understand co-dependency. Where when I seen it, it made me want to act, to put things right. That's why I feel the end was very fitting in my eyes. Sorry if I sounded like I was slamming it. I wasn't. :oops:Lots of love, light and hugs to you all!0 -

Oh I didn't think you were slamming it, I was just voicing my opinion of it since I had literally just watched it before I read your post...and yes, The Muppets are the best0 -

We haven't been for months and I can't even remember the last film we saw. Is this a pretty poor time for movies? Just about everything I read about has as much appeal as slamming my nuts in a revolving door. Recommendations please.0
