My opinions on some of these tracks are:

Mankind - Barcelona = Love this version (and Boot), but not sure if it's the right one.

Sometimes from Bridge school 2 = I think that Night 1 sounds better.

Hail Hail from Letterman = Although this is my favorite version of this song, it has been used on another "No Code" compilation and I am just a little hesitant on using it for this project.

Smile - Hamburg = Is the SQ up to par with Toronto & Barcelona?

In my tree : I like Berlin better, although I'm fine with this one too.
Hail hail : I like that from the Showbox better, but the SQ is not as good. Possibly. Probably. But I'm having trouble assessing the SQ generally.
Smile : see above about the SQ.

Have to check the others. But I'm in the process of listening to ... Leaving here, at the moment

Unfortunately I am having one of those 'life getting in the way of online fun' days today, so I will have to join in this thread from tomorrow. Looks like we are already making good progress.

I'm through with Leaving here, I guess.
And the winner is .... Hartford.

Could have jumped right to this one in the first place. :roll:

About the ending of it though : I think we can keep the 'random guitar ending' part of it, but, if I'm not mistaken, that's the version where he announces some "serenade" or something. So, unless we fit a soft improv' right after it, I reckon we should cut the very last bit off.

About the "random guitar" thing : it might work well with the Roadhouse Blues tease, should we want to include it right before Leaving here.

I sort of hoped for a 'thankyougoodnight' or a 'iloveyoualltakecare' or even a 'we'llcomebackverysoon' at the end of Leaving here. Don't recall hearing any in the versions I listened to (all of them).

Hey tracklist looks good already

Hail Hail - I think it might be better to leave the Letterman version. Heard that one a lot, maybe a different one? Might fit in better with all the rest SQ- wise

the versions of Habit and In My Tree look good too

those two were great ones
I'll have a listen for a "Red Mosquito" we could use - even though it's possibly my least favourite song off the whole album. :shock: Something about it- it's like the "Wishlist" of No Code. But maybe listening to it repeatedly will open my eyes (and ears)

.... Are we sure Barcelona's SQ is good at all ? I mean, it's clear and everything, but the volume seems much lower.

Anyway, if I take this one out (for this reason only), I reckon a good alternative could be (apart from Berlin, which always sounds good, apparently) 09/22 TOLEDO, OH. Which is weird, because I reckon that earlier on today I thought this show had a bad SQ. Now that I'm listening on headphones, it seems clearer than Hamburg or Randall's Island.
