the fact that he gets 9 is what really pisses me off. fucking harry never got all 9 on tv. for as long as i can remember he always moved to radio for the middle 3.

I don't understand how the phils can be so naive about the fans opinions of the announcers. I know a lot of phils fans and I don't know one of them that likes wheels or mccarthy. The phils execs have to know this. I don't understand it.

I like JJ and Franzke doing play by play. Put one of tv and one on the radio. send mccarthy and wheels to pittsburgh to do pirate games

This I'm down with. Wheels has been there 35 - THIRTY FIVE - years. HAS to have some kind of shit on somebody.

I don't think todd kalas even announces games. I always see him doing sideline reporting. The Rays play by play TV guy looks like a 70's pornstar. He rocks a gherri curl and mustache. with glasses.

actually he looks like the guy that dirk diggler and the gang try to sell the bad coke to.

if kalas can't beat out that guy I have to question his ability to call games.

Possibly. I think Todd was given a shot back in the late 90's when the announcing outside of Harry was real bad too.

PP - Scott Graham was just as bad. I don't want either of them. I remember he would always say, "PUT ANOTHER W IN THE WIN COLUMN FOR THE FIGHTIN' PHILS!!!!!!!" ...or something...Ugh.

I have to figure out what my record is seeing them at Citizens Bank Park (I know it ain't good). When I would see them at the Vet they usually won. I think they were like 25-14 or something like that when I saw them there. I used to keep track of that stuff.

Dude you were right next to me, as you can see in my location. That was really a miserable night. My wife stayed home with the little guy, so nobody was there to rationally say, "why don't we leave this game early?" Damn crazy comebacks make you stay to the end of the shittiest games.

R6 launched a foul ball over the 700 level, then sucked ass the rest of the game. I was calling the Mets pitcher Cy Young. Don't you hate when the other team's pitcher gets two hits in an inning? But at least the t-shirt was sweet.

I hope you guys that were there last night were smart enough to tell the fans booing hamels to fuck themselves. that was a pathetic display.

He wasn't getting booed that bad. Besides, I think he's enough of a pro by now to not let things like that bother him. And though he was World Series MVP, it's not he's above being booed by the home crowd like say Derek Jeter is.
