at least nova doesn't have to play them at the garden next week...i ilke this johnnies squad
i like them too and it's amazing what lavin has done with them. i just don't buy the hype of this team that noone in this town has really cared bout for a good decade. now if they make it to the sweet 16 i'll buy into this team. least they are on the right track and are playing good ball.

baby steps metsfan. when was their last tourney win? to come out of nowhere like this, if they get out of the first round, that's a decent year, i would think.

looks like stokes is gonna give it a go for nova tonight. wouldn't be surprised if they scratched him after warmups though. i'm not super confident .........and i'm working late so i'll have to watch it online. :x :x

Thank you and "We are St. John's", though I'm glad I went there when tuition was 10-12K as opposed to what it is now. This is really fun to watch these days. It kind of reminds me of the 1997-98 team, which suddenly clicked when it beat UCONN at MSG in mid-January.

probably not a fan base in America having more fun than St. John's right now. Lavin has so turned that program on. they are going to rock the Garden for the Big East Tourny for sure.

Any other conference that's a success. In Big East terms, that's a failure.

both nova and uconn have 7 losses. put them in any other conference: half as many losses. easy.

uconn will not do well in both the BET of NCAA this year. too young. or maybe i'm just being realistic. unfortunately, kemba will most likely leave at the end of this year. they've had a good run though. really surprised by SJU doing this well...they could do some damage in march.
I love to turn you on

This UConn team reminds me of the 07-08 team; they were good during the regular season but didn't look ready for both tournaments. You never know with Kemba, he could stay and want to win a title his senior year.

Marquette may get in but the shouldn't. 18-12 right now, they lose Sat at SH, they'd be 9-9 in conf and 13 losses heading into the BE tourney. 14 losses should NEVER get you in the tourney, I don't care what conference you are in. I've been to many Marquette games this year and they just aren't a good team. I want them to make the tourney but can be honest and admit they are not a tourney team.

They very well may be, but if anything it proves to me that we certainly don't need a 96 team field. Marquette is not a tourney worthy team, plain and simple. I had season tickets for them this year and have seen enough of them to know they are not tourney worthy. I know the big east is the best conf year in and year out, but finishing 11/16 teams is mediocrity at best, and that should not be rewarded with a tourney bid.

Still trying to figure out why he went for a 3 when they were down by 2. I hate when players do that.

If they lose to Depaul on Tuesday, I'll cry.

I don't understand why people say the ACC, Big 10, and Big 12 are up there with the Big East. It's like this:

    Big East

    Big 12
