Why is Pitt a 1pt dog at WVU tonight??

isn't ashton gibbs out with a sprain of his mcl? saw that somewhere. plus a rivalry game.

yup, gibbs is out. like pitt but the line scares me

i like wvu. they're a decent come coming off a throttling at the hands of the mighty wildcats playing at home in a rivalry game. pitt's due for a loss...

wvu can't score without mitchell playing more. if he only plays a few minutes tonight like he did against nova not sure they can score enough. wvu has been terrible offensively the last few games with him suspended. BUT this line is telling me something. usually unusual lines like this vegas is spot on. i'd probably stay away from the game because of the points above. but they do really hate Pitt so should be a wild atmosphere

line's baiting squares to take pitt. wvu is the spot here. hope i'm wrong cuz i don't wanna play pitt coming off a loss. should be a great one. too bad i'm at work late on mondays. :x

and i would think mitchell will def get more PT tonight. not like he's hurt or anything. huggins was still punishing him by making him come off the bench saturday.

I don't know about West Virginia. Maybe I'm biased because I picked them to have more three pointers than the margin of victory in ESPN's Streak for the Cash, but they were putrid against Villanova and should have dropped out.

and maybe a couple pounds lighter after sweating it out  vegas doesn't win everytime ;) wvu had their chances, especially with gibbs out (looks like he will miss saturday too). i'm glad i was wrong. rather not have nova play 'em coming off a loss, right? .......was thinking about heading down for the game. ticket prices are through the roof though.

now nova better not screw things up tomorrow night....

Jaegs - ESPN Gameday is at Nova for that game thus the ridiculous prices and with a 9:00 pm start that should be wild on saturday. Agree on the trap game tomorrow at Rutgers but not sure Rutgers has enough offense to win the game.

reeeeeaaaally gameday's gonna be there?

biggest pavillion game in quite a while. if i'm not in the building, i expect to be shit face drunk at some local establishment by aproximately 10pm EST

and, yeah--rutgers shouldn't win...but that's why they call it a trap ;) they always give nova fits. and their new coach was robert morris' coach last year when they took nova into ot in the tourney.

if you are shitfaced drunk by 10:00 won't you completely miss the 2nd half? I guess that's how you might consider Corey Stokes Nova's best player. Watch my boy Mike Rice on the sidelines tonight for RU - guy is apeshit crazy on the sidelines, love his antics and intensity. guy was an assistant for the Hawks for 2 years before Pitt hired him away and one of Martelli's son's is one of his assistants.

:? ....it's him and fisch. stokes carried this team on his shoulders for the first two months of the season up until the last couple weeks, that's for sure. damn turf toe. the bayonne bomber! ....luckily they've got enough talent for other's to pick up the slack.

and we'll see about the 2nd half ;) go. cats.

that's all you got Jaegs? nothing about the collapse by your cats? haven't seen one of Jay's teams choke like that before, that was lappas-like. rutgers throw up some trash that went in though, just makes me think even more strongly that nova wins on saturday night.

The Big East is very, very, very overrated.

every game i watched last night ended in misery for me....with nova, much like jay wright is probably preaching right now, i prefer to look to saturday instead of last night.

only thing to take away from it was that they played a very good game in a tough environment for about 39 minutes---WOOPS!
