Wow do I hope this is true. I feel for all you folks worried about traveling, but I've seen PJ in other towns more than my own and although I'm from St. Paul, East Troy is close enough.

Agh...I wish we had news soon! Please be Alpine Valley...

I keep thinking of that video from Touring Band in Alpine Valley when it looked like they were playing in the freezing cold. When was that show? September?

I absolutely hate amphitheaters but since this will be a seniority event, I highly doubt I will be anywhere near that lawn.

    I sure hope it's NOT a senority event, and I'm a member since 1999.

I hope it is not either, I mean I usually can get some decent seats to concerts being in now for almost 8 years but, I have feeling all I would get would be lawn. I want to be there, and I don't want lawn seats because those just suck. If I am only going to be able to get lawn seats, then I am definitely looking into going to a different concert.

With it being a "festival" type show, I doubt it will be senority based.

Alpine Valley has seats though, are those going to be first come, first serve seats? I somehow doubt that.

Didn't Kelly Curtis / Tim say "it's not a festival?" Did something change?

Not a true festival, but other bands big enough to headline their own tour, with a festival type atmosphere. Not your standard 1 or 2 opening bands then PJ, but multiple bands through the day before PJ closes the evening.

Cool, thanks for the clarification. I'm assuming it will be 2 or 3 days of this?

My guess it will be like seating for the Bridge School concerts, but based on seniority.

Just curious if the OP knows for sure that this is the Official 20th Anniv show.
Could it be just one show of many in a tour?

I can't really imagine why the show would be in Wisconsin.
Not to offend anyone from there, but out of the entire country it seems there would be countless logistically better locations.

They were shooting for middle of the country so both coast could attend without having to travel across the country.

Good luck with that logic. I don't know know how Pearl Jam and a few of their friends playing over 2 nights constitutes a festival. To me it sounds like 2 nights of normal shows with a couple of opening acts. If you think it will be a free for all rush with seats you are kidding yourself.
