And we have told you many times that will drive him from Philly to Toronto for you.

which ironic already on its own ...

the guy is playing on one foot now ... sure, his contract sucks but he's not a bad player ...

Yeah, and this is the NBA we're talking about. I don't want horrible contracts. He's their best trading chip right now. See if someone will take him for the same amount, but an expiring contract.

dalembert's expiring contract sure would look nice right now. instead we're stuck with the stiff brothers, hawes and nocioni. god that trade sucked

I think the sixers wanted to save money this year, so they got rid of him...which makes the trade even worse.

This team is so poorly run it's funny. absolutely no direction at all whatsoever

how did they save money? ... dalembert has had a history of not getting along with teammates ... i mean - he got booted from team canada and we have like no talent in this country so ... ya gotta be a major cancer to get booted off here ...

dalembert was making more this year than nocioni and hawes combined. the sixers saved a few mill this year by making that trade. no one goes to the sixers games so they wanted to save some money.

    thank god for the flyers

Speaking of the sixers being poorly run. When I worked for the sixers we had monthly meetings with Billy king where he would update us on everything and we would have an open forum to ask questions. Now I know he wasn't going to tell the marketing guys anything too in depth but let's just say these were the most pathetic meetings I have ever been in. He had no strategy, no direction, no ideas, no nothing. It was a running joke how idiotic the guy running the team was.

That's pretty funny. And exactly what I picture sixers meetings being like.

Can you imagine being a fly on the wall during trade talks?

'We have a chance to get hawes and nocioni!!'

'Awesome, let's trade 2010's most valuable asset (dalembert's expiring contract)'

'Great idea...the guys we are getting suck and we will be stuck with nocioni for 3 years. It's a perfect fit'

    'Great meeting guys, good work'

Hahahahah, replace king with stefanski and that is exactly it.

It was hilarious. I honestly think you or I could do a better job than he did. It was a complete joke.

right. that trade was all about doug collins not wanting him infecting his team. i don't blame him. dalemberts a bum. his numbers are down this year too. they are pretty comparable to hawes actually. def happy he's not here.

iguadala's a bum too. i know you love the dude but if you watch him night in night out, you'd see how he just disappears for long stretches of time...then comes up miserably small in clutch time. the abreu comparison is spot on.

if you watch this team on a nightly basis, and i think i might be the only one in here who does  , you'd see this is a fun team to watch. they play hard are in every game, play good d, and turn the ball over less per game than anyone else in the league. they're getting better.

just get rid of iguadala and throw turner in to give him more minutes.

It was a terrible trade. You don't give away assets like dalembert's expiring contract. Especially when you have to take on 3 years of andres nocioni. I am not a dalembert fan, but he is wayyy better than anyone in their frontcourt.

This team is a joke...they're going nowhere. Just a horribly run franchise

yes. though now that I'm going to be living in towson during the week I won't watch as much. I will have the hockey and baseball packages so I can watch the flyers and phils...no way I'm paying money to watch this shit team

yeah. your opinion of the team sounds like that of a casual fan who just expects them to be terrible though.

if you watch them on a nightly basis, it's tough not to recognize their improvement. they're fun to watch.

thought the phils weren't part of that package because of comcast?

I don't find them fun to watch at all. If anything they are frustrating to watch. I like Young (who might not even be back next year) and Holiday. And I do like Doug Collins. Other than that they are AIDS.

The Extra Inning s Package is thru MLB. Not sure what you mean about the phils.

yeah i don't know. all their games are competitive. after the horrendous start they've been playing quite well, especially at home.

regarding the extra inning package, i thought comcast blacks them out....or you can only get the opposing team's broadcast or something? could be wrong though.

they black out the local teams games. so I won't be able to get the O's or nats games on the package...it will be on local TV down there.

The only shitty part about the package is that some of the saturday afternoon games get blacked out if they are part of the Fox broadcast. And no high def, which is ridiculous
