And then you would all be complaining that the deal is crap anyway.
Seriously, you're annoyed that you have a choice between which membership you can have? I think choice is pretty cool. If you're low on cash this year, get the cheaper membership. Over the next year, save up for the full membership.Ron: I just don't feel like going out tonight

It's not a "good" thing. Increases in costs of anything isn't a good thing. It's a shit thing. But that's life. The overall price for 10c membership, in my opinion, is fine with the increase. That's my opinion and it suits my situation. It's cool if it doesn't sit well with you, but stop whinging like they're a shit organisation because of it and never do anything for us. If you don't like it, cool, don't renew.Come to send, not condescend...0 -

Ohhhh good point! I'm 5'1. I need small shirts.
Try being a 6'4 full grown man... these shit PJ shirts wouldn't have fit me when i was 12
seriously, Pearl Jam does not make shirts for adult men... their 2xl would barely fit Ed's little ass0 -

metclub with its offerings and opportunities is fantastic. if only i was actually "fan enough" to buy it. can you imagine if 10c membership went up to $60!!
so membership goes up $20 but now you get a teesh as well. fuck me, i cant believe whinging their pants off over this. that extra 5c a day is a real killer.Yeh I've seen Pearl Jam, too. But I can't remember the dates.0 -

Oh goddammit.
1. You whinge that they don't "listen" and don't "improve the ticketing system" - but then whinge when they increase the price of membership by a bit"? They could be lining their pockets with the increase, but they could also be considering increasing the server capacity and services available etc.
2. If you're still waiting for the "big bold free" thing then good luck. It was an idea ages ago that floated and it fell through. Move on.
3. They've never promised to open the vault. Massive misconception. And why would they? They're still a touring and recording band. That stuff will come later.
4. We still get reasonable recordings of every show they play. We got them in 2000 and then people - like you, I'd guess - whinged that we couldn't get them quick enough. So, in 2003, they provided an immediate download to tide us over before the physical CD's came. But no, it wasn't quick enough. So they released them in 2006 onwards for download with days of the show, with - obviously - reduced quality. Then people whinge about the quality.

OK, I did not know that. My original point of loads of people vying for tickets still stands. It's extremely hard to get tickets.Come to send, not condescend...0 -

But for the extra $ what I'd really like to see is 10C offer fan club members tickets that are unique, each show with a different design, to distinguish 10C from TM & make that stub even more of a keepsake.
Oh and
fanclub members get to submit designs for each city, any winning entry gets 1st row to any show on tour.
That would def sweet'n the deal.
I've also thought it would be cool to have a backstage lottery for each show. Maybe 25-50 people could win a backstage pass so they could meet all or some of the members of the band for a quick photo and maybe autograph. I don't think that would be unreasonable, if it was timed well, it would only take them about an hour after each show tops. Also, it would need to be regulated so that each person could win only once per tour/year. I think the main complaint most people have is that it doesn't seem like we are getting that much more for double the money. I like your idea of different tickets, that would make them more special for fan club members. I also think a bumper sticker, coffee mug, badge set, or something else could be thrown in for that extra $20, JMO.Hearts and thoughts they fade....
fade away...
I am at peace with my lust.....for Eddie.0 -
a metallica style meet 'n' greet lottery would kick arse. especially as our chances in australia are increased massively... gotta be some perks for gettin tours every few yrs instead of every year.Yeh I've seen Pearl Jam, too. But I can't remember the dates.0

i'm pretty sure they did offer to make the "vault" of past live shows available for purchase and download, and i think they offered the 93 NYE show, that they then released on CD with the 10c version of the avo, and i think one or two other older shows where made available, then it was just forgotten and disappeared.condescending and sarcastic since 19800 -

I'm over it now, keen to move on. I know people that quit the 10c because of finances, lack of interest in the band, etc. but it seems you might quit the 10c [EDITED].
I hope you enjoy your 5 shows a year. So long.Come to send, not condescend...0 -

$40 is not a lot of money. If it is to you than $20 is too much to you to spend on pearl jam. You whiners are all absolute losers who don't know how blessed you are with your lives that spending $40 on your favorite band makes you show how much a low life unappreciative brat loser you are online.0
