I think the president of the fan club can pretty much do what he wants...So, I am probably thinking the band members know nothing about this new membership options...
I'm going analog all the way so yes I will be paying more money but I'm having a ten club tshirt and a boot and who knows probably a few surprises so is still worthy now if you think they're ripping you off you always have a choice just dont renew your membership

One of the possibly surprises you may get is not receiving a fan club and the t-shirt...I hope they keep to their word this time.
My membership expires at the end of January! Its clear that i will pay the $ 30 extra and take the analog way!

Worst news this year so far... No,...it really sucks. 50$ for the International Membership...I don't want to wear the fucking shirt anyway. Deep Mag...not worth the paper it's printed on. Shows in Europe are General Admission most of the time, so I have no business in buying the expensive 10C tix anyway. So the only deal is the Holiday Single and they know that!!!

How is this splitting up the fan club members? How will anyone ever even know which membership you belong to when you are posting here or rocking out at shows? It's not like the analog folks get our own private bathrooms at the shows. Though, that's not a bad idea! :P

I don't know why but I somehow continually manage to be shocked at the response of apologists around here. They are charging you MORE money. How is that a good thing? How about they send us our freaking holiday single around the holidays before charging us more for it? Regardless of there being a choice or not, your institute fee is an investment that enables you to remain employed. Without that, you wouldn't have the money to piss away on a 45 and a t-shirt.

No way will I pay the extra money for what I'm already getting... or shall I say evetually getting. Maybe this wouldn't be so appalling if 10C's track record wasn't shit. As it stands, they're asking more money for things that they have proven year-in year-out to struggle to deliver. If one wants to pay even more for such a poor service that's your right, but don't try to tell me how a t-shirt makes it better. I'm an adult, I don't need every product issued by a rock band to feel special. I'm quite happy to have control over what I purchase and I value getting some kind of value for my money. If others don't that's their right, but I'm quite happy to not be included in that group.
So I'll pony up for the digital, but I guess just to hold onto my number and get in on the 10C sales and such. Not for much reason beyond that. And let's face it, in print or PDF Deep Magazine is a load of fluff that could be better contrusted by fans in the first place. Plus, regardless of how much 10C charges for membership, it's not gonna make PJ the band it used to be, either musically or ethically so fuck it, I can only care so much. I get to see one of the hardest working musicians around in Mark Lanegan all the time. He's affordable, plays small venues and is fucking amazing.

I also just renewed as im interested in getting the 10c shirt. I love my metclub shirts and this will be something similar. Just wish the 10c would copy the idea of metallica's meet and greets, as i won one for the australian tour and that was an awesome experience that could only be better by meeting pearl jam.

I've been a member for a few years and other then the Deep magazines and the annual singles that they send out very late, I haven't been part of any of these "contests" or imaginary "freebee's" that they send out from time to time. To pay a whole lot more for a t-shirt doesn't really seem to justify such a price jump.
This may be a needed revamp of the 10c ..

1) If you don't like it then too bad, but stop talking about how much you hate it. With every decision that the Ten Club makes there are going to be good and bad points. If you really love PJ then you are going to spend that extra money to get everything. If your not a huge fan they you are going to stick with the basic plan. Now I know that you can't get everything like before but that is just how it goes. IMO PJ is the best band ever and I think the extra 20 bucks is worth it, so I'm going to get the Analog plan.
2) Some people say that most people are just a member so they can get the good seats. I don't think this is true. I'm a member because I enjoy PJ, I would love to get good seats but most importantly, I love this community!!! Everybody here is so nice and caring, I am proud to be a member! I
