hey everyone....

a little update for you all.....

-Chris & I are finally going to meet this weekend after writing/collaborating/recording for over a year! he & his wife are coming down to Austin & my wife & i are going to meet them & head to ACL tomorrow. we're both super excited to finally jam in the same room & just hang out. it's been a long time coming, that's for sure. we're going to try to play a quick set somewhere in town on Saturday. if we do, we'll try to spread the word here so any of you in Austin can come out. no matter what happens, we're looking forward to a fun weekend!

-the second record is just about ready to submit for copyright. there are 1-2 more songs that we need to edit, but after that, it's done! my sister, Maura is once again on board to do the artwork...which is awesome. you can listen to early edits of these songs here: www.reverbnation.com/presentlyfalling. just keep in mind, they aren't the "final" versions that will appear on the (still untitled) second album.

this album is different from Here We Are----it just has a different feel/vibe to it, but it still sounds like us. we can't wait to share it! here's the tracklisting for the second album:

yup. it was AWESOME. lots of good food, good music & great company!!! looking forward to next years festival already!!! it's hard to believe that we'd never met after recording 70+ songs and collaborating for over a year!!!

just wanted to let you all know that the new record is DONE!!! i just finished some final edits & we'll be submitting it for copyright in the next few days. Maura is once again hard at work on the artwork & i hope to get a preview when we head north to visit for Thanksgiving. we're both very happy with how this record turned out & we can't wait to share it with you all! here's the final tracklisting for LP#2 (we have a few titles in mind, but haven't made a final decision yet).

Hi guys, great to see you've got another batch of songs ready and can't wait to get them stuck in my head. Pieces Apart sounds like a good album title to me given the distance apart from each other you guys are producing this great music together and I'm so glad your meet up in Austin went so well because it means you'll hopefully want to keep entertaining us.
