Chris and I are really looking forward to releasing the next album soon. On top of that, I can't wait to be settled in our new house in the next couple of months so we can start writing & recording NEW music! Beware the Ides of March! 
Hey there! 
Matt and I are super pumped to share Volume 3 of our Bends, Odds & Ends series! This one sits apart in that about half of these songs were serious album contenders! 'Dear Dad' is a super special song in that it was one of the first songs Matt sent me back in fall 2009. Super personal, super emotional, I filed it away and didn't think much more about it for years. Not until 2013 when I found it sitting in my Google Drive after looking for something else (this is so typical of Matt and I LOL!). With a newborn at home, I had moved a bunch of my gear into storage and as soon as I started listening to it again I was completely hit with emotions (new Dad hormones) and decided to open it up and play some stuff on it. That was almost 10 years ago now and I'm thrilled Matt ok'd sharing this with you all. Love you Matt!

Love you too, man. I hadn't heard (or even thought of) that song in years and it hit me like a ton of bricks. Same with another song about Dad in this installment called April Day. It brought up so many emotions, but at the end I was simply grateful. Grateful for my Dad and the time we had together and also grateful for my friend and bandmate that opened me up to explore those difficult spaces. Music has gotten me through so much & is truly cathartic. Thanks, Chris.
