    Never had in N out but if its anything like all the other 100 million different burger joints down south Im gonna have to say it sucks. Last time I went down south to visit my sister we must have tried 5 different burger joints and htey all tasted exactly the same. Just cheap crap.

    5 guys on the other hand is amazing. I love how they use raw jalapenos too.

    five guys is crazy expensive for what it is... is it the same with in n out? its been awhile since i last had it...

    never heard of 5 guys and frankly there isn't a better burger than in-n-out so this really isn't a contest (at least for me) :D

    5 guys is damn good (and the amount of fries is absurd and you cant pass up the cajun) but I do search high and low for in-and-out when i'm on the west coast! making me hungry and i just had lunch an hour ago

    Five Guys fries are WAY better than In-N-Out fries! And since fries are more important than burgers, that's all that matters to me.

    +1, if a place has sucky fries, I won't go back (though good fried mushrooms may tempt me)

    We get 5 Guys at work pretty much every Friday. Fries were great today. I don't have an In & Out within 2000 miles either.

    However, case of grass being greener on the other side (of the country)... I vote for In & Out.

    I finally tried a five guys burger today (don't have 1 where i live)
    It was delicious but I am leaning towards in-n-out for the win. Maybe it's the thousand island dressing.
