Not exactley. There has been a website up for awhile now, Monkeywrenchrecords.com which never had anything more than a home page with a logo on it. Monkey Wrench Records is what Pearl Jam calls their record label, since they are now independent. People had been sort of keeping an eye on the website for awhile. Apparently at some point yesterday I think, the song appeared there, but it seems that someone was trying to share it with one other person, on behalf of the band's managment, but didn't realize that the site was open to the public. The site has since had a password protection put on it, but basically, that's how it went down. This wasn't really supposed to get out it seems, but it seems like they have decided, oops, its out there, we're not gonna let the fans talk about how to get it, but once they have it, if they wanna talk about it, thats okay.words seem so out of place.

It's pretty cool!
I'm thinking it's a song that Ed brought to the RA sessions that was recently given a facelift (ie. vocals). That was the uke/lbc period
It is possible that he did all the instrumentation himself but he may have had a hand or two.

+1. The second half of that song brought tears to my eyes, and that's just not something that happens.
